WILL OF CARRIE STERN HART
I,the ur-dersigned,Carrie Stern Hart,of the Borough of East
Washington,vVashington Couhty,Pennsylvania,do hereby make and
declare the following to be my Last Will and Testament:
1.I give,devise and bequeath unto my son,Charles Stern Hart,
absolutely,all my estate,real,personal and mixed,of every
kind and nature,and wheresoever situated,and I appoint him as
Executor of this my Last Will and Testament;provid.ed that my said
son sh~ll be living at the time of my death.
2.If my said son should not be living at the time of my
death,or if he and I shculd die in a common disaster and it
should not be known who cf us died sooner than the other,I
appoint as the Executors of this my Last Will and Testament
Edgar M.Clark,Jr.,and Lloyd O.Hart,of Washington,Pennsyl-
vania.If either of said Executors shall have died before my death
I appoint as Executors of this,my Last Will and Testament,the
survivor of them and the Mellon National Bank and Trust Company,
Washington,Pennsylvania Office.If both said Edgar M.Clark,Jr.,
and Lloyd O.Hart,shall have died before my death,I appoint
as the Executor of this oy Last Will and Testament said Mellon
National Bank and Trust Company,Washington,Pennsylvania,Office.
I appoint as attorneys for my Executors in the settlement of my
estate the said Lloyd O.Hart and his son,William C.Hart,
Hart and Hart,Attorneys at Law,or the survivor of them.
3.I direct that my body be buried by Ralph E.Piatt,Funeral
Director,in the Herman Stern and Joseph M.Friedman Burial Plot,
Lot No.52,Section A,i~West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Con-
gregation in Allegheny C)unty,Fennsylvania,at a cost not to ex-
ceed $2,500.00,including the cost of a suitable marker for my
grave and the payment of the sum of $100.00 to the Rabbi who shall
conduct my funeral service,and the cost for the first year of the
care cf the grave of my son,Charles Stern Hart,if his body is
buriec.there.

4.If my said son should not be living at the time of my
death,or if he and I should die in a common disaster and it

devise and bequeath my entire estate,of every kind and nature
and wheresoever situated,as follows:
To Theresa Willig,if living and employed in my home at the
time of my ceath,$5,000.00,absolutely and free of all taxes;
The balance as follows:
To National Jewish Hospital,3800 East Colfax Avenue,
Denver 6,Colorado,the sum of $1,000.00;
To Citizens Library of "ashington,Pennsylvania,the sum
of $500.00;
To the Jewish Home for the Aged,Brown's Place,Pittsburg~,
Pennsylvania,the sum of $1,000.00;
To the Council of Jewish omen,Pi~tsburgh,Pennsylvania,
the sum of $500.00;
To the United Jewish Appeal Fund or United Jewish
Philanthropies,the sum of $1,000.00;
To the Rodef Shalom Congregatioh,Pittsb~rgh,Fennsylvani ,
the sum of $1,000.00;
To Margaret Spriggs,if living at the death of the
survivor o~me and my son,the sum of $1,000.00;
To Hazel Jackson,if living at the death of the survivor
of me and my son,the sum of $1,000.00;
To Ruth Cummins,wife of ilbur L.Cummins,if living at
the death of the survivor of me and my son,otherwise to her
husband,the sum of $500.00;
To David C.Eason,husband of Clarissa 3ason,if living
at the death of the survivor of me and my son,o~herwise to his
said wife,the sum of $500 00.
5.If there shall not be in my estate enough assets or balance
to pay all of the said legacies,all of them,except the legacy to
Theresa Willig which shall be first paid,shall pro-rate in the
available fund.If there shall be more than eno~gh assets er bal-

ance to pay all of said legacies,all of said legacies,including
the leg~cy to Theresa Wil~ig,shall pro-rate in the excess,and
to this extent and for this purpose I give,devise and bequeath
all of the residue of my estate.The provisions in this par-
agraph,No.5,apply to only the legacies provided in Paragraph
No.4 of this will.
