I,J.Clarence Carter,of South Franklin Township,Vash- ington County,Pennsylvania,hereby make,publish and declare this my last will and testament,hereby revoking any and all wills by me at ar-y time heretofore made. FIRST:I direct that my personal property be sold with- in one year from my death and that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. SECOND:I direct that my executors hereinafter named shall,within three years from death,sell and convey all my real estate,except wJ interest (being the undivided one-fourth inter- est)in ~he oil and gas and other minerals under the Home Farm of my fathe~,Samuel A.Carter,situate in East Finley Township,Wash ington County,Pennsylvania,and Morris Township,Greene County, Pennsylvania,which said interest I hereby give and deviset~to my executors,in trust,to use any portion of the income therefrom for my wife's support,if necessary,during her life,and after her death,I give and devise the same to my four children,Leroy S.Carter,Leanna Phillips,George W.Carter,Mary Bristor,and the sons of my deceased daughter,~nrgaret Crosson,namely,Robert and Rich~rd Crosson. THIRD:I direct that the proceeds of my estate be applied,first,to the payment of $2898.25 to my daughter,Mary Bristor,the same being the amount of her share of the real estate containir-g between seven and eight acres,situate in South Frankli Township,Nashington County,Pennsylvania,which was conveyed to me by Charles H.Baker et ux.,without mention of her name,but with an understanding between us that she has this beneficial in- terest therein,and second,the balance of the estate to be heldb , my exec~tors in trust for the benefit of my wife,Elizabeth Carter during her life,the said executors not being required to obtain a higher rate of interest for her than five per cent. FOURTH:After the death of my wife,I direct that my executors shall payout of my estate all her funeral expenses, and that the balance of my estate be divided into six equal shares one of w~ich I give and bequeath to my son,Lenoy S.Carter;one to my daughter,Leanna Phillips;one to my son,George W.Carter; one to the sons of my deceased dauehter,~~rgaret Crosson,namely, Richard and Robert Crosson;one to my daughter,r~ry Bristor;and one to my step-sons,Hugh A.Danley and George A.Danley. FIFTH:I hereby make,constitute and appoint my son, George W.Carter,and my ste~-son,George A.Danley,executors of this my last will and testament.It is not to be required that said executors shall give bond for acting as trustees,as above directed.
