I,Isaiah N.Craft,of Luzerne Township,Fayette County,
pennsylvania,mindful of the uncertainty of life,do make,declare
and publish this writing as and for my last will and testament;
FIRST,I direct my executvri hereinafter named,to pay
TI~just debts and funeral expenses,as soon afte~my death as
conveniently possible,out of any ready money I may then have on
hands,or,failing this,out of such personal property as may at
the time be most advantageously converted into cash.
SECOND,I direct my said executll7:i:x to give to my grand-son,
Edgar craft,my gold watch,and to my granddaughter,Clara P.Craft,
my piano.
THIRD,after the pa~nent of my debts and the disposal of
said gifts or bequests,I give,devise and bequeath all the rest,
residue and remainder of my estate,real and personal,of whatsoever
.kind and wherever situate,of which I may die seized or possessed,
or to which I may be legally entitled,to my wife's sister,Martha A.
Cunningham,in trust,however,to have,hold and dispose of the same
in the following manner and for the following purposes,viz:
I.To invest the residue of my personal estate in such
securities and in such manner as the said Trustee may think best,
permitting and allowing,however,my beloved wife,Mary J.Craft,
and her said sister,Martha A.Cunningham,during their joint lives,
and the survivor of them during her life,at their pleasure,each
to take,use and enjoy so much of the income arising from said funds
or estate as she may choose,imposing upon them no other condition
than the duty of filing with the Trustee receipts for all moneys
received;or,if the one so taking be the Trustee,she shall file
among the papers pertaining to the trust a memorandum of the matter.
This obligation to receipt shall apply to nothing but the interest
or money received,and not to any chattels or other personal
property of which they may make use.
II.To suffer,permit and allow either the said Mary
J.craft or the said r1artha A.Cunningham to ask for and receive
out of the said trust fund,by consent of both,any part of the
principal thereof which they may desire to use (even to the extent
of its exhaustion)by filing such receipts as aforesaid,the sur-
vivor of them to have the smne privilege,it being stipulated,
however,that funds desired for investment,and not ror current
use,shall be held in the name of the said Trustee.
III.To hold and manage my real estate,or any real
estate purchased in the n~me of said Trustee,but to permit and
allow my said wife and her said sister during their joint lives,
and the survivor of them during the residue of her life,to take,
use and enjoy the rents,issues and profits thereof,according to
their good will and pleasure.
IV.The said Trustee,with the consent of her sister,
if living,may invest any of the trust funds in land,or sell,
conveyor encumber any of the land devised by me,or purchased by
her,at pleasure,provided only that the proceeds shall be considered
and treated as part of the trust property.
V.Upon the death or resignation of said Trustee,her
sister,said Mary J.Craft,shall succeed her in said trust.
VI.Upon the death of the survivor,a trustee properly
appointed shall hold the then residue of said trust estate as he
receives it;that is,he shall neither buy nor sell land,but &~all
manage it to the best advantage,and may invest and reinvest
personalty as may seem best for the fund.He shall apply so much
of the income arising from the estate as may be necessary to the
maintenance and education of Edgar Craft and Clara P.Craft,
children of my son,Ewing O.Craft,or the survivor of them,until
the youngest living attains his or her majority,when and at which
time,upon legal proof of the death of my son,Ewing O.Craft,
being produced before the proper tribunal,the whole of the said
trust estate,both real and personal,shall be conveyed and
assigned to them,the said Edgar and Clara Craft,or the survivor
of them,if one be dead without then living children,but to such
survivor and such liVing children by representation,if any such
there be,to have and to hold unto them,their heirs and assigns
forever.
In case,however,such proof of my sonTs death shall not
then be presented,said Trustee shall pay over to said children,
or their representatives as aforesaid,the net income arising from
said estate for a period of five years after said Edgar Craftts
majority,When,if my said son,Ewing O.Craft,has not then returned,
or whenever,prior to this time,his death shall be proved as afore-
said,the whole of said estate shall be turned over to my said grand-
children as above provided.
VII.If my said son should return before the time above
fixed,the said Trustee shall,after the said children are twenty
one years of age,provide for him personally during life a
comfortable living out of the income of said estate,the amount,
manner of payment etc.,to be Wholly within the discretion of said
trustee,it being expressly stipulated that no part of this pro-
vision shall be applied to the payment of my said sonTs antecedent
debts or to the maintenance of any other person than himself.The
balance of said income shall be paid to said children as aforesaid
until their father's death,when the whole estate shall be turned
over to them,or their representatives,as aforesaid.
VIII.It is directed that none of the provisions in the
last two paragraphs shall be so construed as to conflict with any
of the preceding paragraphs,but are to take effect only after the
death of my wife and her said sister_Martha,and then these pro-
visions shall take effect according to the then existing circumstances,
that is according to the age of my aforesaid grandchildren.
IX.It is my desire and advice that my executrix and
trustee shall look to Newell A.Porter for advice and assistance
in the management of the affairs of my estate,paying him out of
the estate whatever may be proper or necessary.
Lastly,I constitute and appoint my beloved wife,Mary
J.Craft,the executrix of this my will.

this eighth day of June,A.D.1904,nineteen hundred and four.
