LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I,ERNEST G.HAINES,of the Borough of Canonsburg,
Washington County,Pennsylvania,do hereby make my Last Will and
-Testament,and revoke all Wills by me at any time heretofore made
FIRST:I direct the payment out of my estate of all
my Just debts,the expenses of my illness and funeral and tranafe
inheritance taxes as soon as convenient may be after my decease.
SECOND:I bequeath to John R.Leonard and Avril H.
Leonard,his wife,and to Freda Haines Bates and George A.Bates
all debts which they may owe to me at the time of my death,and
hereby release them from the ..pa.yment thereof and direct that any'""
evidence of such indebtedness to me which may exist,be cancelled
and destroyed.
THIRD:I will and devise unto my daughter,Avril H.
Leonard,all the remaining portion of Lot No.140 which I own
situate in the Elizabeth R.Harper et ale -Plan of Lots,as the
same is recorded in the Recorder's Office of Washington County,
Pennsylvania,in Plan Book 1,page 175,having erected thereon a
dwelling house and garage and known as WOw 314 West College Street
in the Borough of Canonsburg,Pennsylvania.I have heretofore
conveyed a part of said lot to the said Avril H.Leonard by deed
dated June 15,1946,recorded in the Recorder's Office of
Washington County,Pennsylvania,in Deed Book 718,page 156.
FOURTH:I hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter,

Freda Haines Bates,all my shares of stock in the Mountain Fuel
Supply Co.,Columbia Gas System,Inc.,and Keystone Gas Company.
FIFTH:All the rest,residue and remainder of my
estate I will,bequeath and devise unto my daughters,Avril H.
Leonard and Freda Haines Bates,share and share alike,their heirs
and assigns forever.
I do hereby nominate,constitute and appoint John R.
Leonard and Avril H.Leonard as Executors of this my Last Will and
Testament.
IN W~SS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and
seal this ~C ~day of May,1954.
Signed,sealed,published and declared by Ernest G.Haines,the
above named testator,as and for his Last Will and Testament,in t
presence of us,who at his request,in his presence,and in the
presence of each other,all being present at the same time,have
