ITEM 1.I direct the payment out of my estate of the expenses of my illness and funeral. ITEM II.All the rest,residue and remainder of my estate,real and personal,I give,devise and bequeath to Cleon Scott Hallam,my hus- band,his heirs and assigns,conditioned,however,that in the event of his death in my lifetime,or in the event of his death within the period of three months after my death,the said devise and bequest of residue shall lapse or be divested,and in either event,I give,devise and bequeath the said residue of my estate to our five children,namely,Elsie Elizabeth Hallam Todd,John Alfred Hallam,Wayne S.Hallam,Arthur S.Hallam and Lois Ann Hallam,in equal shares,but,any conveyance of a parcel or parcels of land from our home farm in Amwell Township,to anyone or more of our children above named,shall be treated as an advancement to that child or children and a deduction from that child or children's share equal to $10.00 per front foot of the parcels so conveyed and shall be deductible from that legatees share;I declare it to be my intention that should ,... ... ,'.
