FIRST:I direct that my funeral expenses and the expenses of my last ill- ness be paid as soon as may conveniently be done after my decease. SECOND:I give One-half (1/2)of all of my AMERICAN TELEPHONE AND TELE- GRAPH STOCK,in equal shares,to my Three children,HELEN E.KENNEY,EARL G. DAGUE and EDITH L.DAGUE. THIRD:I give to my husband,W.GRANT DAGUE,in trust,all stocks and bonds owned by me at the time of my death,except the AMERICAN TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH STOCK heretofore given to my Three children,he to hold the same,in kind,and to collect the income therefrom and,after paying any expenses inci- dent to the management of the trust,to pay over the net income to the said W. GRANT DAGUE for his individual use and benefit for and during the term of his natural life;and I further direct that included in the income shall be any rights issued in connection with such stocks,as well as interest and dividends;the said W.Grant Dague shall not be required to enter security and shall not be an insurer of the trust fund,and shall be liable to the persons interested only fOI such care,prudence and diligence in the execution of the trust as other Trustees are required to exercise.Upon the death of my said husband,W.Grant Dague,I give and bequeath the principal of said trust,being the stocks and bonds held i~ kind,in equal shares to my Three children,HELEN E.KENNEY,EARL G.DAGUE and EDITH L.DAGUE;and in the event that anyone of my said children be deceased at the date of the death of W.Grant Dague the share of such deceased child shall bE distributed to his or her children;and should any of my children die without leaving children to survive,then the share of such deceased child shall go to my surviving children. FOURTH:I direct that all State,Inheritance and Succession taxes on pro perty passing under this my Will shall be paid out of the principal of my general estate to the same effect as if said taxes were expenses of administration,and all legacies,devises and other gifts of principal and income shall be free and clear thereof;in the absolute discretion of my Executrix,she may pay such tStes -1- immediately or she may postpone the payment of taxes on future or remainder in- terests until the time possession thereof accrues to the beneficiary. FIFTH:All the rest,residue and remainder of my estate,real and per- sona1,I give,devise and bequeath to my husband,W.GRANT DAGUE,his heirs and assigns,conditioned,however,that in the event of his death in my lifetime,or in the event of his death within Thirty (30)days after my death,said devise and bequest of residue shall lapse or be divested,and in either event I give,devise and bequeath the residue of my estate,in equal shares,to my Three children, HELEN E.KENNEY,EARL G.DAGUE and EDITH L.DAGUE,their heirs and assigns.I declare it to be my intention that should my husband be living at the expiration of Thirty (30)days from the date of my death the residuary estate hereby devised and bequeathed to him shall vest in him absolutely and in fee simple,free of all conditions.
