I,Charles C.Butler,a resident of Rast Bethlehem
Township,\lashington County,Pennsylvania,bein~of sound mind and
memory,do make,publish and declare this my Last "'ill and Testamer:t,
hereby revoking any and all TIills by me heretofore made.
1.I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses
be paid as soon after my decease as may be found convenient.

II.I give,devlse and bequeath all of my h~usehold•qI
goods and furniture located in my home in Fredericktown,~ast
Bethlehem Township,Washin~ton County,Pennsylvania,or Jcilse"here,
to my three grandchildren,Clara Anna Queen,Glenn ~aymond Butler
and.Priscilla Ann Butler,share and s1are ali1r e,such bequest,
however,to be subject to the riryht to the use and enjoyment of
the sa~e,hich I hereby ~ive and bequeath to my vife,Anna Sutler,
during her lifetime.It is my wish,hovevpr,that at the time of
the disposition of my said household goods and furniture,nd sale
shall be made t~ereof until each of my grandchildren aforesaid
shall have the right to claim such items thereof as he or she may
desi e,my exec tor being charged with the eq ~table distribution
thereof.
III.I hereby give,devise and bequeath all of my
property,real,personal and mixed,of whatever nature and where-
soever situate to my wife,Anna Butler,to nave the use,enjoyment
and income t~erefrom during her life,7ith the ri~ht in the said
Anna Butler to encroach upon the principal of the sa~e and t~e
power to consume the same,if,in her absolute discretion,the

sane is necessary for her proper maintenance and living expenses,
and with the furt~er power to dispose of the sane or any part
t lereof in the manner set forth in the paragraph imMediately sub-
sequent hereto.
IV.I hereby nominate and appoint Dr.p.J.Hawkins of
Fredericktown,East Bethlehem Township,1"ashington County,Pennsyl-
vania,executor of this my Last '"iill and Testament,and my said
executor shall have full power,ith the joinder t'·erein of my
wife,Anna Butler,if then living,to sell at public or private
sale and without order of court,all realty and Dersonalty belongirg
to my estate and to make good and sufficient deeds or bills of salE
t~erefor in fee simple;and after the death of my vife,Anna Butlet,
my said executor is hereby ordered and directed to sell all of my
property,real,personal and mixed,when at the discretion of my
executor they may be sold at fair value,and he shall have full
power and authority to sell the same or any part t~ereof at public
or private sale,and without order of court,and to ~ive good and
sufficient deeds or bills of sale therefor in fee simple,subject
only to the limitations contained in paragraphs 2,7,8,0 and 10
hereof.
In the event my executor named,.iJr.n.J.Hawkins,
predeceases me,I hereby nominate and appoint Grant I.Burner of
Ht.Lebanon,Allesheny county,Pennsylvania,to be executor of thi
my Last Will and Testament,with all of the same directions,power
and authority hereinbefore granted to Dr.r.J.Hawkins,as
executor hereunder.
V.At the termination of the life estate of my ~ife,
Anna Butler,in all of my property,I order and direct that the
same or the proceeds thereof be divided into three equal shares,

to be distributed and paid by my executor to my three ~randchildrer.
equally,to wit:Clara Anna 1ueen of ~redericktown,Pa.,Glenn
Raymond Butler of Fredericktown,Pa.and Priscilla Ann Butler of
!;:t.Lebanon,Pa.;the share of any grandchild deceased at tne time
of my death to be paid to the children of such ~rapdchild.
VI.In the event my granddaughter,Priscilla Ann Butler,
is a minor at the time of my death,I hereby nominate and appoint
the said Dr.W.J.Hawkins,or in the event he be not living at
that tLme,the said Jrant I.Burner,as guardian of the share of
the property ~iven hereunder to my said ~'randdauihter,Priscilla
Ann Butler.
VII.In the event the home in ~hich I no~live on Route
88 in the Tillage of Rredericktovn,East Bethlehem Tovnship,
VJashin:;ton County,Pennsylvania,has not been sold Drior to the
death of the survivor of my wife,Anna Butler,and myself,I order
and direct that my granddaughter,Priscilla Ann Butler,shall have
the first right to purchase said home,with the appurtenances,at
the valuation at which the same is appraised for transfer inheritarce
tax purposes.
VIII.In the event the property located on Rredericktowr
Hill,East Bethlehem Township,"'ashington County,Pennsylvania,ane
known in the family as the Litton property,has not been sold prior
to the death of the survivor of my vife,Anna Butler,and myself,
I order and direct that my granddaughter,Clara Anna ~leen,shall
have the first right to purchase said Litton Dro 1ierty,with the
appurtenances,at the valuation at wbich the same is appraised for
transfer i~heritance tax purposes.
IX.In the event the real estate located on Fredericktovn
Hill,H;ast Bethlehem Tmvnship,1"'ashington County,Pennsylvania,
and known in the family as the Cornell property,has not been sold
prior to the death of the survivor of my wife,Anna Butler,and

m~self,I order and direct that my grandson,Glenn .~ymond Butler,
shall :lave the first risht to purchase said real estate,'"lith the
appurtenances,at the valuation at w':ich the sa~e is appraised for
transfer inheritance tax purposes.
X.In the event the lot hereinafter described,located
in the Villase of Frederickto rm,East 'Rethlehem r-:'ol.'lnship,':Jashin,rrtcn
County,Pennsylvania,has not been sold prior to t'le death of the
survivor of my wife,Anna Butler,and myself,I order and direct
that my neighbors,Simon Huey Harshman and his 'ife,shall have
the first ri3ht to purchase all that certain lot of wJ ground
adjoining on the ':,'est the lot t 1le said ~imon Huey Harshman and
wife already own,for the sum of Five hundred and nO/100 (~~500.00)
Dollars,which shall be paid into my estate,said lot being
identified as follows:BEGINNING at a point common to lot of
Simon Euey Harshman,et ux.,land of Albert Fearrie and lot here-
with described,which point is the Northwest corner of lot hereto-
fore sold by Annie Butler,et con.to Simon Hue~Harshman,et ux.;
thence North 76°43 1 7est 121.17 feet to a stake on the ~ast side
of Frederickto~n -Beallsville concrete road;thence by the center
line of a private road or right of way,which n07 exists on the
ground and Nhich leads off said concrete highway and extends throueh
lands of Annie Butler in a Southeasterly direction,to a Doint,
the intersection of said center line with the extension of a line
the Southerly boundary line of tl1 e lot previously conveyed by
Annie Butler,et con.,to Sirron Huey Harshman,et ux.;thence by
said extension of said line South 76°43'East to a point coru~on
to the lot previously conveyed by Annie Butler,et can.,to Simon
Ruey Harshman,et u..lC.,other land of Annie Butler and the lot
hereby conveyed;thence along line of lot heretofore conveyed by
Annie Butler,et con.,to Si.'TIon Ruey Harshman,et ux.,North 13°
17 1 East 82 feet to the place of beginning.
