1.I direct the payment of all my Just debts and
funeral expenses,including any inheritance tax.
2.I d1rect that my real estate at 327 Locust Avenue
Washington,Pennsylvania,be appraised by an appraiser agreed

3.I direct that mY'daughter,Ida M.Clarke,shall
have the right to elect to take said real estate at the apprais-

I,Julien G.Colvin,of the City of MOnongahela,
Washington County,Pennsylvania,hereby declare this present writ
ing to be the first Codicil to my Last Will and Testament dated
the lOth day of July,1948.
FIRST:I do hereby authorize,empower and direct the
Executor or Executrix of my Estate,the Trustee of said Estate,
and their successor or successors,to pay from the corpus of my
Estate such sums for the support,maintenance and medical attenti
of my mother as may be necessary and requisite and for the pay.men
of which her individual income may be inadequate or insuffioient.
SECOND:I do hereby ratify and oonfirm my said Last Will
I and Testament in every other respect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,to this first Codicil to my
Last Will and Testament,I have hereunto set my hand and seal thi

I,JULIEN G.COLVIN,of the City of Monongahela,
Washington County,pennsylvania,make and publish this my Last Will
and Testament,hereby revoking and making void all former wills by
me at anytime made.
FIRST:I direct that my Executrix hereinafter named,
shall,as soon as conveniently may be done,pay all my just debts,
funeral expenses and expenses of the settlement of my estate.
SECOND:All the rest,residue and remainder of my
estate,of every kind and natur~,including real,personal and mi~
ed property,and wheresoever situate,I give,devise and bequeath
unto my wife,Alice S.Colvin of said City of Monongahela,in
trust for the following uses and purposes:-
(a)To invest the principal and such income as may
be unexpended,and to re-invest the same from time to time,.in sue
securities or real estate as said Trustee may deem advantageous,
without being restricted to a class of investments which a Trustee
is or may hereafter be permitted by law to make,and collect and
receive all income and profits arising therefrom.
(b)To pay over semi-annually the entire income
from my estate to my said wife,Alice S.Colvin,for and during
the term of her natural life;upon the death of my said wife to
distribute one-half of the corpus of said Trust Fund to such perso
or persons,and for such purposes,as she may designate in and by
her Last Will and Testament,which shall be offered for probate in
the jurisdiction of her last domicile,within six months after the
date of her death.
(0)Upon the death of my said wife,Alice S.-Colvin,
I direct that the substituted Trustee hereinafter designated or its
successor,pay over semi-annually the income from the remaining
art of said Trust Fund in equal shares,per stirpes,to my child-
ren,during the minority of each and every of said child or child-
ren;and to pay the corpus of such share of each respective child
or children to him or her upon reaching the age of twenty-one (21)
years.The issue of any deceased child or children to have divided
among them the share Which their respective parent would have taken
if living at the time of said distribution.
(d)If my wife,Alice S.Colvin,is living,and acting
as Trustee hereunder,when any of my said children reach the age of
twenty-eight (28)years,she is hereby authorized and empowered to
ake distribution of the shares of such child or children in and to
the corpus of said estate,to him or her,in whole or in part,any
time after reaching the age of twenty-eight (28)years,within the
judgment or discretion of such Trustee.
THIRD:If the Last Will and Testament of my said wife,
exercising therein the power of appointment hereinabove given in
Sub-paragraph "E"of the~econd~Paragraph hereof,shall not be
robated within the time limit prescribed for the probation thereot
then,and in such event,I direct that said entire Trust Fund be
administered and distributed,in accordance with the provisions of
Sub-paragraph "C"of the "Second"Paragraph hereof.
FOURTH:It shall not be necessary or incumbent upon my
xecutrix or Trustee to convert or sell any investments which I
ay have at the time of my death,and I authorize and empower her
or it to retain them,or any of them,if,in the judgment of my
said Executrix or Trustee,it shall be deemed advisable to do so.
FIFTH:I hereby direct that neither the income from the
aforesaid trusts,nor the corp~s t~~waybecome
sUbject to,or liable for the debts,liabilities,creditors,
assignments,pledges,contracts,transfers,or anticipations of
any beneficiary named in said trusts,or any person who shall
acquire an interest therein,under the terms thereof,nor to any
attachment or execution for any claim of any kind or nature.
SIXTH:I do hereby authorize and empower my Executrix
and Trustee,hereinafter namad,to sell and convey,in fee simple,
all my real estate,as a whole or in parts,either at public or
private sale,at such times as they may deem expedient,with the
right to use their own jUdgment as to time of sale,purchase price,
or method of payment,without any liability of the purchaser for
the application,non-application or mis-application of the purchase
money,and to execute and deliver all such deeds or other assuranc
as I co~ld have done if living,and pending such sales,I hereby
authorize and direct my said Executrix and Trustee to lease my said
real estate in whole or in parts upon such terms and for such
rentals as my Executrix or Trustee shall deem most advantageous to
my estate.
SEVENTH:I hereby appoint Alice S.Colvin of the City of
Monongahela,as the Executrix of this,my Last Will and Testament,
also as Trustee as hereinabove set forth.
EIGHTH:I hereby appoint First National Bank of Mononga-
hela City,Pennsylvania,as Guardian of any of my children,as
Executor of this my Last Will and Testament,in case my wife shoul
predecease me;and as Substituted Trustee of the Trusts herein
established,in case my wife should be deceased prior to the final
distribution of said Trust Estate.
NINTH:It is my desire that no Bond be required of my
Executrix or Trustee in performing the duties herein specified.

State Inheritance Taxes and all Federal Estate Taxes to which my
estate,or transfer of any property hereunder,may be subject,and
to charge such taxes as a part of the expenses of the administra-
tion.
