Last Will and Testament Of Joseph H.Bell.
I,Joseph H.Bell,of Ohio County,Vest Virginia,being of sound
and disposing mind and memory and desiring to made such disposition of
my worldly estate as I deem best,do hereby make,publish and declare
this to be my last Will and Testament,hereby revoking any and all for-
mer wills and codicils whatsoever by me made.
First;I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be
paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as conveniently may be
and to that end charge my whole estate,real and personal,with the same.
second;-I give,devise and bequeath to my beloved wife,Gladys
•Bell,all the rest,residue and remainder of my estate,real and per-
sonal,to have and to hold as her own and to dispose of as she deems best.
I nominate and appoint the First National Bank and Trust Co.of
Elm Grove,at Elm Grove,i~eeling,west Virginia,to be the executor of
this my last Will and Testament.
In witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal to this my
Last Will and Testament at Elm Grove,Wheeling,Ohio county,West va.-,
this 3rd day of July,1926.

presence,at his request and in the presence of one another,all present

This 24th day of ay 1937,appeared the First Nation~~Bank &
Trust Company of Elm Grov~,petitioner,by Edmund Lee Jones,Its At-
torney,and offered for probate the Last ill and Testament of Joseph
H.Bell,deceased,who departed this life on the 29th day of April 1937,
a resident of Triadelphia District,Ohio County,west Virginia,and said
Last ill and Testament,which bears date the 3rd day of July 1926,was
accompanied by a petition requesting a day set for probate,service up-
on interested parties to issue,etc.,as well as to Leo •Coleman,
guardian ~d litem for Gertrude Lee Bell,interested infant,and it is
thereupon accordingly adjudged,ordered and decreed that the 28th day
of ay 1937 at 10 o'clock A.•be set for hearing and probate of said
will.

This 28th day of May 193?at 10 o'clock A.~.,this matter came
on to be heard.And it appearing to the Court that all of the interested
persons named in the petition filed herein have been duly notified by
service of proper summons,now returned,with aoceptance of service duly
endorsed thereon.And it appearing to the Court that all of the persons
interested in the probate of the paper writing dated the 3rd day of July
1926,are now properly convened before this Court,in person,and by Edmund
Lee Jones,their attorney,also at this same time personally came Leo A.
Coleman,who was heretofore appointed as guardian ad litem for Gertrude
Lee Bell,interested infant,and accepted service as such guardian ad litem,
thereupon the Court proceeded to hear and deter.mine the motion made for
such probate by Edmund Lee Jones,Attorney for your petitioner.
Harry E.J.Genter,one of ~he subscribing witnesses to the paper
writing dated the 3rd day of July 1926,was by me duly sworn and upon his
solemn oath did depose and say,that the said Joseph H.Bell,is now de-
ceased,and that he did in his lifetime on the 3rd day of July 1926,sign,
seal,publish,acknowledge and declare the said paper writing dated as
aforesaid,as and for his Last Will and Testament and that he,the said
Harry E.J.Gonter and Geo.H.Grodhaus,did each of them,then and there,
at the request of the said Joseph H.Bell,and in his presence,and in
the presence of each other,they all three being present together at the
same time subscribed their names respectively to said paper writing as
witnesses thereto,and that at the time of the execution of said Will,
the said Joseph H.Bell,was a person of sound mind,memory and under-
standing.
Geo.H.Grodhaus,the other subscribing witness to said will being
out of the jurisdiction of this Court,at this time,his signature was
proven by Harry E.J.Genter.

Thereupon it is.by the Court ordered .that the paper writing dated
the 3rd day of JUly 1926.be and it is hereby admitted to·probate as and
for the True Last ~ill and Testament of the said Joseph H.Bell.deceased.
and that the same has been duly proven before me to be the True Last ill
and Testament of the said Joseph H.Bell.deceased.and it is hereby
ordered to be recorded as such.

Barth,Its Trust Officer,and was duly sworn and entered into and acknowl-

Letters testamentary on said decedent's "lill are hereby granted said
Executor in due form.
