I,Carrie Brown of Mathews County,Virginia,being of sound
and disposing mind and memory do hereby make,publish and declare
this as and for my last will and testament,and do hereby revoke
any and all other wills or testamentary dispositions by me at any
time heretofore made.
1.I direct that all of my debts and funeral expenses be paid
by my executor hereinafter named as soon as practical.
2.I giv~,devise and bequeath to my daughter,Wanda Brovm
Taylor,all of my real estate in athews County,Virginia;and all
of my personal property,tangi~le and intan ible,in Mathe s County,
Vir inia,if she be living at my death.If my said daughter should
predecease me,I give,devise and bequeath all of said property to
her children,to be divided among them equally,share and share
alike.
3.I give,devise and bequeath to my daughter,anda Brown
Taylor,and to my step son,M.B.Brown,all of my real estate,or
interest theremn,in the State of Pennsylvania,to be divided them
in equal shares,per stirpes and not per ca.pita.
4.I give,devise and bequeath to my brother,W.H.Rowl~nd,
all of my real estate,or interest~therein,in the State of Florida,
if he be living at my death.If my said brother shou!d predecease
me,I give,devise and bequeath said real estate,or interest there-
in,to my daughter,Wanda Brown Taylor.
S.I give,devise and be~ueath to my said daughter,anda
Brown Taylor,all the rest residue and remainder of my estate,real,
personal or mixed,and wheresoever situated,of which I may die
seised and possessed or entitled to.If my said daughter should
predecease me,I give,devise and bequeath said rest,residue nd
remainder to her children,to be divided among them equally,share
an share alike.
6.I nominate and appoint illiam M.Taylor as executor of
tIllS,my last will and testament,and request that he be allowed
to qualify as such without security.
Given under my hand and seal this lOth day of April,1940.

going will was acknowledged to be her last will and testament by
the said testatcix,in the presence of us,theee competent wit-
nesses,present at the same time;and we,the said witnesses do
hereunto subscribe the said will on the date last above written,
in the presence of the said testatrix and in the presence of each
other and at the request of the said testatrix,who was then of
sound mind and over the age of twenty-one years.

ORDER.
The foregoing paper writing,purporting to be the last
will and testament of Carrie Brovn,deceased,who was a resident of
the County of Mathews and State of Virginia and who died on the
13th day of November,1944,in Cleveland,Ohio,was this day
produced before the Clerk and offered for proba te;and said paper
writing being then fully proved by the oaths of R.T.Mason and
A.L.Marchant,two of the three subscribing vdtnesses thereto,is
admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded as and for the true
last will and testament of the said Carrie Brown,deceased;and,
it appearing to the Clerk that William M.Taylor,the Executor
named in said will,has declined to qualify as such,as is evidenced
by a certain writing this day filed,and that Wanda Taylor,the
sole heir-at-1aw of the decedent,has requested that Alfred L.
Marchant be permitted to qualify as the Administrator,Viith the
will annexed,of the estate of the decedent,which request is
likewise evidenced by another writing this day filed,it is ordered
that the said Alfred L.Marchan t be,and he hereby is,appointed

Administrator,with the will annexed,of the estate of the said

Whereupon,the said Alfred L.Marchant made oath that he
will perform the duties of his office to the best of his ability
and judgment ani entered into and aclmowlEd ged a bond before the
Clerk in the penalty of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)with the
United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company,acting by L. L.Smith,
its duly authorized agent and attorney-in-fact,as his surety,the
said agent and attorney-in-f~cthaving first justified on oath as
to the sufficiency of his said company.
