DAVID HUNTER BORLAND
I,David Hunter Borland,of Monongahela.,Washing-
ton County,Pennsylvania,being of sound and disposing mind and
memory,do make,pUblish and declare this my Last Will and Testa-
ment,hereby revoking and making void any former Will by me at
any time heretofore made,in manner and form following:
FIRST:I order and direct my ~xecutor,hereinafter named,
to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as con-
veniently may be done after my decease.
SECOND:I direct that my Executor place a marker on my
grave similar to the markers used on other aves in the family
burial plot.
THI D:I request that L..Frye of the City of ~ononga-
hela,if living at the time of my decease,be engaged as mortician
in my behalf.
FOURTH:I direct that my Executor distribute my household
goods and furnishings as they may deem wise and prudent,to such
of my nieces and nephews as said Executor may select.
FIFTH:I give,devise and bequeath unto Monongahela
Cemetery Company,in trust hrn~ever,the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty
($750.00)Dollars,to be invested as a perpetual trust,using the.
entire income therefrom annually for the maintenance and upkee
of the burial plot on which my grave shall be situate.
SIXTH:I give,devise and bequeath unto my grandnephew,
David Hunter Borland,Jr.,who is my namesake,the sum of Five
Hundred (500.00)Dollars.

SEVENTH:I give,devise and bequeath unto my nephew,

Joseph V.Borland,the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars;to
my niece,Elizabeth V.Vatson,the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)
Dollars;to my niece,rdargaret Borland,the sum of One Hundred
($100.00)Dollars;to my nephew,Ornar K.Hill,the sum of One
Hundred (100.00)Dollars;to my grandnephew,Henry Watson,the
sum of One Hundred (100.00)Dollars;to my grandnephew,Van Kirk
Borland,the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars;and to my
grandniece,Betty latson,the sum of One Hundred (100.00)Dollars;
EIGHTH:I give,devise and bequeath unto my nephew,
ark G.Borland,my farm situa.te in Nottingham Township,Washingto
County,Pennsylvania,consisting of approximately five acres,and
being the same property which I purchased f'rom the heirs of John
Sumney.
NINTH:I give,devise and bequeath unto the Mercer
Brotherhood Bible Class of the Methodist Church of Monongahela,
Pennsylvania,the sum of One Hun ed (~100.00)Dollars.
TE TH:All the rest,residue and remainder of my estate
and property,real,personal and mixed,of whatsoever nature and
kind,and wheresoever situate,I will,devise and bequeath unto
such of the following who may be living at the time of my death,
in the manner and pro ortions as hereinafter set forth,to wit:
To my brother,Charles D.Borland,the
Seven-Fortieths (7/40ths)thereof;
To my nephew,lark G.Borland,the Seven-
Fortieths (7/40ths)thereof;
To my nephew,Lloyd W.Borland,Sr.,the
Seven-Fortieths (7/40ths)thereof;
To my nephew,ililliam C.Borland,the
Seven-Fortieths (7/40ths)thereof;
To my nephew,Charles Borland,Jr.,the
Seven-Fortieths (7/40ths)thereof;
To my niece,Virginia Hill,the One-
Fortieth (1/40th)thereof;

ELEV'TTH:I order and direct my Executor hereinafter named,
to sell all the rest,residue,and remainder of my real estate,
wheresoever situate,\mich I have not hereinabove specifically
devised,and convert the same into cash,and distribute the pro-
ceeds thereof with my residuary estate as hereinbefore provided.
And for the purpose of the conversion of my residuary real estate
into cash,as directed in this paragraph of my ViII,I order and
direct that my Executor shall have full discretionary powers as
to whether such sale or sales shall be pUblic or private sales,
and at such price or prices as to him shall be deemed most
advantageous for my estate,knowing full well that my said 'xecutor
will use his very best endeavors and judgment in behalf of my
estate.And for the purpose of such sale of the residue of my
real estate,I hereby order,direct,authorize,and empoier my
said ~xecutor to execute,acknowledge,and deliver to the pur-
chaser or purchasers thereof any deed or deeds,assurance or
assurances,that may be required and necessary in the transfer of
the title or titles thereof to the purchaser or purchasers,and
receipt for the purchase money or moneys therefor.
T l!.LFTH:Should my said brother or anyone or more of my
said nephews,nieces,grandnephews,or grandnieces hereinbefore
named,be deceased at the time of my death,then,in such event,
any part of my estate lhich 'vould have vested in them had they

survived me,I order and direct shall be considered and construed
to be a part of my residuary estate,and distributed to my brother
and such of my nephews,nieces,andneuhews,and grandnieces
hereinabove na ed as residuary legatees as may survive me;that
is to say,should my said brother,or any of my said nephews,
nieces,andne hews,or grandnieces be deceased at the time of
my death,then,in such event,any bequest or devise I have made
to the ,or any of the ,in this y Last .jill and Testament,
shall la se and be treated as a part of the cor us of my
residuary estate for distribution amon~the residuary legatees
named in the mannGr and ratios and roportions as recited
hereinabove.
