of Burgettstown,
in the COl"nty of Washington and State of Pennsylvania,being of sound
mind,memory and 7.u~derstanding,do make and publish this my last will and
testan~ent,'hereby revoking and 71'baking void all former wills by me at any time
heretofore made.
.lInd first,I direct that my fu,nel'al be conducted in manner corresponding with
my estate and situa,tion in life and tha·t all my just debts and funeral expenses be
fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently 7nay be after tny decease.
As to slwh estate as it ha,th pleased God to intrust tne with,I dispose ofthe sarne
as follows,vi::-.:
1.I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Jennie B.East-
on all my household goods and personal effects.
2.I give,devise and bequeath to my said Wife,Jennie
B.Easton,all the residue of my estate,real,personal and mixed
for the term of her natural life,with the right to my said wife
to consume any part or all of my personal estate if the same be
necessary for her comfort and maintenance •.
3.I give,devise and bequeath to my daughter Jeannette
Easton Vance,wife of John F.Vance of Br,idgev1lle,pennsylvania,all
of ~estate,real,personal and mixed,hereinbefore bequeathed and
devised to my wife during the term of her natural life,subject to
said devise to my wife.
~.I hereby authorize and empower my executrix herein-
after mentioned to sell any part or all of my real estate at public
~r private sale as to her may seem most advantageous to my estate
and to make and execute a proper deed or deeds to the purchaser or
purchasers of the same.Such sale or sales to be'made only upon the

consent and request of my said wife,Jennie B.Easton.The proceeds
of said sale to be placed in the custody of my said wife without her
being required to give any security for the same.
S.I hereby constitute and appoint my daughter,Jeannette
Easton Vance,exeoutrix of this will.------~--------,
