W ILL I,JAMES F.HAZELTINE of the City of Washington, Washington County,Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make, publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all Wills heretofore made: 1.All of my just debts and my funeral expenses shall be paid as soon after my decease as convenient. 2.I devise and bequeath the sum of FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00)DOLLARS to the First United Presbyterian Church of Washington,Pennsylvania,to be used as the proper officers thereof consider necessary, this in memory of my wife and me. 3.I devise and bequeath the sum of FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00)DOLLARS to The Orphans Home and Farm School of Zelienople Pennsylvania,to be used as the proper officers thereof consider necessary, this in memory of my wife and me. 4.All the rest and residue of my estate, real and personal,I devise and bequeath to my wife Leah E.Hazeltine, if she survives me,and if she survives me I appoint her executor of this Will. 5.If my wife has predeceased me,I devise and bequeath my entire residuary estate, after the legacies in the above two paragraphs have been given effect,to my daughter Minnie Elizabeth Lang and to Washington Union Trust Company of Washington, Pennsylvania in trust for my son Clarence C.Hazeltine,in equal shares, that is to say,the one-half part of said estate to my daughter outright, and the one-half part of said estate to said Trust Company in trust for my son under the conditions and for the purposes hereinafter set forth. 6.Said trust estate shall be managed, invested and reinvested for my son in such manner that the income there- from may be used for his maintenance and upkeep for the balance of his life as at the date of writing this Will he is incapable of steady employment or of caring for himself due to illness. It is,therefore,my direction that the income from said estate be paid monthly or as often as possible to whatever person or institution has charge of my son for his maintenance insofar as possible and I further direct that if said income is insufficient to maintain him,the principal may be used for such purpose or for medical or surgical attention as it is my desire to maintain my son insofar as possible with the means available and the Trustee shall have discretion in deciding what sums of principal to expend in his upkeep. The Trustee shall not be limited to so-called legal investments as now or hereafter defined by Pennsylvania Law, but may use entire discretion in investing said estate. It may also retain any property of which I die seized or may sell at public or private sale any property of which I die seized for such price and upon such terms as to it seem just and may make, execute and deliver deeds or other documents of title therefor the same as I could do if living. Said trust shall thus continue during the natural life of my son and upon his death any residue of said fund shall go to his children James and Thomas share and share alike. As my son's illness is of a mental or nervous nature,it is possible that he will recover during his lifetime. Notwithstanding anything hereinabove set forth, should my son re- sume normal living and should he hold steady employment at any time during his lifetime or should the Trustee be otherwise con- vinced of his return to normal health,by the opinion of qualified medical pract~fuD~or otherwise, the Trustee in its sole discretio shall be authorized and is hereby authorized to terminate said trus and deliver to my son the residue of said estate left at that time. 7.If my daughter predeceases me the share of my estate devised to her shall go to her children Joyce and Sheryl ang in equal proportions. 8.I appoint my son-in-law Fred W.Lang executor of this Will in case my wife does not qualify for the reason above - 2 - set forth.I authorize and empower said executor to retain any property real or personal which I own at the time of my death or to sell any of said property real or personal at public or pri- vate sale for such price and upon such terms and conditions as he deems wise and to make, execute and deliver deeds or documents of title therefor the same as I could do if living.
