LAST TILL ill TESTAMENT
I,Florence Ann Calvert,of Carroll Tovmship,County of
Iashington,and State of Pennsylvania,being of sound mind and memory,
do hereby make,publish and declare th~s to be my last Will and
Testament,in manner and form following,hereby revoking any will
heretofore made by me.
First.I direct that all my just 'debts and funeral expenses
be fully paid and satisfied,as soon as conveniently may be,after
my decease.
Second.I gIve and bequeath to my husband,John James Calvert
all of my estate,real,personal or mixed of whatsoever nature and
whereever;situated.
I do he~eby make,constitute and appoint'Evelyn May Calvert
Smith and Samuel Shaw Smith,to be the executors of this my Last Will
and testament.
IN WITNESS v~EOF,I Florence Ann Calvert the Testator above
named,have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal,the
~venty-fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and Forty-Four.

Florence Ann Calvert,as and for her Last Will and Testament,in the
presence of us,who have hereunto subscribed our names at her request
as witnesses thereunto,in the presence of said Testator and of each
other.

Allegany County,to-wit:On the lOth day of July,1945,came C.
lilliam Gilchrist,Attorney-at-law of Cumberland,Maryland,and made oath
in due form of law;that after the death of Florence Ann Calvert,the
testatrix,he found the aforesaid will among the private effects of the
said testatrix,in her late home.And the said C.Nilliam Gilchrist,
further made oath,that the aforegoing instrument of writing is the true
whole last will and testament of Florence Ann Calvert,deceased,that hath
come to his hands or poss~ssion and that he does not know of any other
will or testament of the deceased aforesaid.

Allegany County,to-wit:-BE IT KNOT'ffl:-That Rose Emma Calvert
and Edith Cowan Fisher,the two subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing
last will and testament of Florence Ann Calvert,late of Allegany County,
Maryland,deceased,are non residents of the State 9f Maryland,and beyond
the jurisdiction of the Orphans'Court of said County and State and it being.,
unable to produce them to prove their signatures as witnesses to said Will,
the signature of Florence Ann Calvert,the testatrix aforesaid,was proven
by George I.Stegmaier,of the City of Cumberland,Maryland,(on July
13th 1945)who made oath in due form of law;that he was well acquainted
with the said Florence Ann Calvert,and familiar with he~handwriting
and that her signature as testatrix to said will 1S her genuine signature·
to the best of his knowledge and belief.
