THE LAST ~lLL AND TESTAMENT OF
VJILLIA [C.HATFIELD
I,WILLIAM C.HATFIELD,of the Cit of Unionto\m,County of
Fayette and State of Pennsylvania,do make,publish,and declare this
my last will and testament,hereby revoking and making void all wills
by me at any time heretofore made.
ITEM FIRST:I will and direct that my body be interred by
the side of my wife,Alice Skiles Hatfield,in the Hatfield burial lot
in Redstone Cemetery at Brownsville,Pennsylvania,according to the
rites and ceremonies of the Protestant Episcopal Church.
ITE]~SECOND:I will and direct that all my just debts and
funeral expenses be paid by my executrix as Soon after my decease as
may be convenient.
ITEM THIRD:To my brother-in-law,Dr.Patrick V.McParland,
of Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania,I give and bequeath my three-stone diamond
ring,if he should be living at the time of my decease,but if he should
not then be living,I give and bequeath said ring to my nephew John Felix
McParland.
ITEM FOURTH:To my nephew,John Felix McParland,I give and
bequeath my gold watch and chain.
ITEM FIFTH:To my nephew,John Felix McParland,I give and
bequeath the sum of five hundred (500)dollars,the same to be paid to
him as soqn after my decease as may be possible.
ITEM FIXTH:To Miss Nettie Nickel of Unionto~n,Pennsylvania,
I give ~nd bequeath the sum of five hundred (500)dollars,the same to
be paid to her as soon after my decease as may be possible.

_ITEM SEVENTH:.To the 'Rector,Wardens and Vestrymen of St.
Peter's Episcopal Church,of Uniontown,Fayette County,Pennsylvania,
a corporation,I give,and bequeath the sum of one thousand (1000)dollars,
in memory of my wife,Alice Skiles Hatfield,the same to be carried and
shown on the books of the said Church as the Alice Skiles Hatfield Fund.
ITEM EIGHTH:To the Union Trust Company of Pittsburgh,I
give,devise,and bequeath the sum of eight thousand (8,000)dollars,
in trust,nevertheless,to hold,manage,invest,reinvest and keep in-
vested the same and to collect and receive the issues,income,and
profits therefrom and,after first deducting all expenses attendant upon
the execution of the trust,to pay over to my nephew,William W.McParland,
the income and profits thereof in semi-annual installments during the
term of his natural life;and at his death the principal of said trust
shall be divided into two equal parts,one of which two equal parts free
and discharged of all trusts I give,devise and bequeath to my sister,
Elizabeth Hatfield McParland,and the other free and discharged of all
trusts I give,devise,and bequeath to The Rector,Wardens and Vestrymen
of St.Peter's Episcopal Church,of Uniontown,Fayette County,Pennsyl-
vania,a corporation,to be added to the begueat contained in ITEM SEVENTH
of this will.
ITEM NINTH:All the rest,residue,and remainder of my estate,
real,personal,and mixed,of Whatsoever kind and wheresoever situate,I
give,devise,and bequeath to my sister,Elizabeth Hatfield McParland.
ITEM TENTH:I will and direct that all legacies herein given
to any collateral heirs,relatives,or other person or corporation shall
be paid in full without any deductions for any collateral inheritance tax,
or any other State or Federal taxes now or hereafter levied,and that all
such taxes shall be paid from my residuary estate hereinbefore mentioned.
ITEM ELEVENTH:I do hereby make,constitute,and appoint

Elizabeth Hatfield McParland,of Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania,executrix
of this .my last will and testament.
IN VITTNESS WHEREOF,I,William C.Hatfield,the testator above
named,have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal,the 21st
day of November,in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-five.
