being of sound mind and memory,do hereby make,
IPUbli~h and de~lare t~iS to be my Last Will and Testament,in manner and form following,hereby
.revok111g any 1'1'111 or wIlls heretofore made by me.1
First.I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid andsatisfied,as soon
as conveniently may be,after my decease.1
Second.All of my estate,real personal and mixed,whatsoever and
wheresoever situate,I order and direct to be converted into mone:y as
soon as the same can conveniently be done after ray decease and f~r
that purpose I do hereby authorize,empower and direct my said ~xecutor
hereinafter named,to sell,dispose of and convey in fee simple.,all
my said estate,either by public or private sale or sales,without
any liability Df the purchasers for the application,non-application
or miss-application of the purchase monies_.---------_--~----I
Third.I give and bequeath unto my step-sons,Emile LeGardin
of Monessen,Pa.,Extol'LeGardin of Charleroi,Pa.,and Arthur LeGardin
of Charleroi,Pa.,and my step-daughter,lfillie Harper of Charleroi,
Pa.,and their heirs and assigns,absolutely,the sum of ~NO Thousand
($2000.00)Dollars,share and share alike.And upon the death of any
of them before my death,leaving lineal descendants,such descendants
shall take the share of the deceased step-child and should any of my
said step-children die without descendants,his or her share of said
Two Thousand ($2000.00)Dollars,shall go to and vest in the survivor
or survivors of said step-children and their heirs ~
Fourth.All the rest,residue and remainder of my estate,after
the payment of debts and the bequests mentioned in Item Third,I give,
devise and bequeath to my beloved wife,Melvina Baton.~----------
Fifth.In the event that my said wife,Melvina Baton,should die
before the date of my death,it is my will and I direct that the devises·
and bequests mentioned in Items Third and Fourth above,becorne null and
void and of no effect and in that event,larder and direct my said
Executor hereinafter named to divide rny entire estate after the pay-
ment of debts and funeral expenses ,into two equal parts,and-----
Part First.1 give,devise and bequeath unto my following

step-children.share and share alike,i.e.,the children of Rosalie
Baton,deceased,who was my first wife,and should any of said step-
children be deceased .at the time of my death,said deceased child's
share shall be divided per stirpes among its lineal descendants~I
Part Second.I give,devise and bequeath unto my following
step-children,share and share alike,i.e.,the children of Melvina
Baton,who "is my s~cond wife,and should any of said ste~-children be
deceased at the time of my death,said deceased child's share shall
be divided per stirpes ~mong its lineal descendant~.)
