)Greene County,Pennsylvania,being of sound
)mind,memory and understanding,do hereby I
..,)publish and declare this to be my last will
and testament,hereby revoking and making void all wills by me at anytimJ
heretofore made.
First:I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be pai
as soon as convenient after my decease,and,also,~f a monumeht has not
been erected during my lifetime for my late beloved wife,Mary (Benningt n)
Hufford.and myself,I direct that a suitable monument be placed at our
graves in the North Tenmile Cemetery,Washington County,Pa.,and paid
for out of my estate.
Second:I give,devise and bequeath all the remainder of my
estate,real,personal and mixed,in four (4)equal parts,as follows:
(A)One part is hereby given to the children of my deceased
son,Dr.J.Frank Hufford,late of Elrama,Pa.,to wit:Mrs.Mary Newcom r,
Lorraine and Lulua Hufford,their heirs and assigns,share and share ali e.
(B)One part is hereby given to my granddaughter,Mrs.Mary E.
Hoyle of Waynesburg,Pa.,her heirs and assigns,child of my daughter,.
Mrs.Lulu B.Huffman,
(C)One part is hereby given to my son,Attorney Clyde W.
Hufford of Washington,Pa.,in
use and benefit equally of his
trust nevertheless,without bond,for thel•I
two daughters,Katherine and Julia Huffor,
their heirs and assigns,and direct that my said Bon make such applicati.n
and management of same for their use and benefit as in his judgment may
seem proper,and upon their attaining the age of twenty-five years to pay
or turn over to them,their heirs and assigns,all remaining balance
unexpended.
(D)One part is hereby given to my son,Dr.A.Ray Hufford of I
Grand Rapids,Michigan,his heirs and assigns,
Third:I hereby authorize,empower and direct my legal repre-
Isentatives,hereinafter named,to make sale of any of my real estate
without order of Court or bond,and to make,execute and deliver deed orl
deeds for same,if in the judgment of any two of said legal representatives
the same may become necessary at any time to facilitaue the settlement of
my estate,and the Joint action of any two of my said legal representatives
shall be sufficient to carry out this provision or any other business or
matter connected with my estate.
Fourth:I hereby declare~that all past obligations given to me
by my children have been satisfied and any such papers found shall be
,null and VOid,and further that at the execution of this will I have no
unpaid obligations nor any incurred,except with Simon lihite's Sons for
$229.00.
Fifth:I hereby nominate,constitute and appoint as my legal
IrepresentativesofthismylastWillandTestament,my two sons,Clyde W.
HUfford of Washington,Fa.,and A.Ray HUfford of Grand Rapids,Michigan,
Executors,and my daughter,Mrs.Lulu B.Huffman of Waynesburg,Pa.,
Executrix.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
19th day of October,A.D.1939.

instrument of writing,purporting to be the last Will and testament of

Dennis Hufford late of Waynesburg Borough in the county of Greene,
deceased,who,being duly sworn according to law,depose and say that
they were personally present and saw and heard the said testator sign,
seal,publish and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for
his last Will and Testament,and that they signed their names as Witness s
to the said instrument of writing in the presence of the said testator
and at his request,and in the presence of each other,and at the time
of signing the same he,the said testator was of Round and disposing min
memory and understanding,to the best of their knowledge and belief,and
that as they shall answer to God at the last Great Day.I

lithe searcher of all hearts,that as Executors of the last Will and I
Testament of Dennis Hufford late of Waynesburg Borough Greene County,paJ,
deceased,they will well and truly administer the goods and chattels,
rights and credits .of said deceased,according to law,and also that
they will diligently and faithfully regard and well and truly comply
with the provisions of the law relative to Transfer and Federal inheri-
tances,and that as such they shall answer to God at the last Great Day.
