~end and State of New Jersey,being of Sound Mind,Memory and
Understanding,do ake and Publish this my 1ast ill and Testament
in manner following,that is to say;
FIRST -I order and direct my Executors hereinafter named to pay
all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as conveniently may
be after my decee.se.-------------------------
SBCOND;w I order and direct that my body be buried in Monongahela
Cemetery,in the City of ~onongahela,ashington County,PennByl~
vania.
THIRD:-I order and direct my Executors hereinafter named to purw
chase and have erected at my grave,a marker to correspond with
the markers at the other graves in our burial lot.
~OURTH:-I will,give and bequeath to the MOMOMGAHELA CEMETERY,
in the City of Monongahela,ashington County,Pennaylvania,the
sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00);the interest and income
from which,to be used in the care and upkeep of the Byers lot and
the B.C.Camp lot in said cemetery,as well as the graves in said
lots.
~IFTH:-I order and direct my Executors hereinafter named to set
aside from my estate,immediately after my death,the sum of
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000 00),and to pay the income and
interest therefrom to my brother,\ILLIAM C.BYERS and MARY A.
3YERS,his wife,of Millville,New Jersey,or the survivor of them,
:or and during the term of their natural lives.Upon the d th of ~
my said brother,'illiam C.Byers and Mary A.Bye~,his wife,my
eaid Executors are to hold the said fund of Twenty Thousand Dollars
together with the accumulations thereof,and in the event that my

Bruce Clipper,then in such event the said fund so held by my said
Executors,together with the accumulations thereof,shall revert
to my residuary estate,and be distributed as hereinafter set
forth.In the event my sa'd niece,Mary C.Clipper should survive
her said husband,J.Bruce Clipper,then in such event the said
fund of Twenty Thousand Dollars together with the accumulations
thereof,sha·ll be paid and distributed to my said niece,MARY C.
CLIPPER.But,in either of said events,no distribution to be
made of said fund after the deaths of my said brother william C.
Byers and Mary A.Byers,his wife,until after the death of my

full charge of my said estate and property and pay the income,
interest and profits therefrom to my said wife,CATHERINE JOSEPH-
INE BYERS,for and during her natural life;and upon her death

Scott,and EUGENE W.GIBBONS,of Monongahela,Pennsylvania,shall
have the first right and option to purchase my stock in the Belle-
wood and Monongahela City Natural Gas Company,of Monongahela,
Pennsylv nia,of wbich I am now President,for the sum and at the
price of Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00)per share.Each to have the
first,full right and privilege to purchase the one-fourth of my
said stock at said price,or they shall have the first right to
purchase said stock among them in any proportions they may amic-
ably agree upon,and at the purchase price aforesaid;and my
Executors hereinafter named ~re authorized and directed to sell
to said four named persons respec tively,the said stoc~at any
time after the death of my wife,and at said purchase price,pro-
vided that said persons elect to take said stock within a reason-
able time after the death of my wife,should she survive me.~------l

curities among my assets as well as any real estate I may die
seized of,for a period of time not to exceed however,three years
from the date of my death,provided my said wife at such time be
deceased;and in the event my said wife should survive me for a
period of more than three years,then my said Executors are order-
ed and directed to dispose of my said assets and property within
a reasonable time after the decease of my said Wife.It being my

full intention to give my said Executors,full discretionary power
as to the sale of my said assets,knowing full well that they will
dispose of my estate and property for the purpose of distribution
at such time as will be most advantageous to my estate and to the
beneficiaries under this my last ill and Testament.Nothing in
this paragraph however to in any way conflict with the plan for
the selling of my stock in the Bellewood and Monongahela City Nat-
ural Gas Company at any time after the decease of my wife,as pro-
vided in Paragraph Thirteen herein~----------------------------------
FIFTEENTHI-For the purpose of the sale of any real estate of
which I may die seized,I hereby authorize and direct my Executors
hereinafter named to grant,sell and convey my said real estate
and to execute,acknowledge and deliver any deed or deeds,to the
purchaser or pruchasers thereof as may be required and to receive
and to receipt for the purchase money therefor.
L STLY:-I hereby nominate,constitute and appoint my nephew"I
ROBERT W.BYERS and GEORGE'•SCOTT,both of Monongahela,Pennsyl-
vania,as Executors of this my last 'ill and Testament,and in as
much as neither one of my said Executors are residents of the State
of New Jersey,wherein I now reside,I order and direct that my
said Executors or either of them shall n~required to file any

bond or give any security as such Executors;and further,I here-
by order and direct that all the rights,privileges and powers
granted in this my last ]11 and Testament to my said Executors,
either discretionary or otherwise,shall extend to the survivor
in the case of the death of one of them.

I hereby revoke Paragraph ~FIFTHM of said will,and in lieu there·

interest therefrom to MARY A.BYF~S,widow of my said brother
William C.Byers,deceased,for and during the term of her natural
life.Upon the death of said Mary A.Byers,my Executors are to

accumulations thereof,and in the event that my niece MARY C.
CLIPPER should die before her present husband,J.Bruce Clipper,

Monong~hela,Pennsylvania,shall have the first right and option t
