I,R.A.~ilcox,of the 'rown of Windsor,Hart-
ford ounty and State of Connecticut,on oath depose
and say:
1.)~hat I am Associate Trust Officerof River-
side Trust Company,Hartford,which is the duly appointed
Executor under the Will of Edith .M.Claussen.
2.)That for many years immediately prior to
her death on August 15,1938,Mrs.Claussen maintained
her domicile in the Village of Niantic,New London County,
State of Connecticut.
3.)That to the best of our knowledge,this
decedent is not and at the time of her death was not
indebted to any person in the Conrrnonwealth of Pennsylvania.
4.)That this affidavit is made for the purpose
of securing a certificate of the Registrar of Wills and
in special connection \rlth the transfer of 10 shares
Citizens Water Company,1ashington,Pennsylvania,7%pfd.
stoCk owned at the time of her death and is not made for
the purpose of removing any of the assets of the decedent
beyond the reach of creditors in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.

I,EDITH M.CLAUSSEN,a resident of the Town of East
Lyme,County of New Lonmn,in the State of Connecticut,being of
sound and disposing mind and memory,do make,ordain,publish
and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament,in the manner
and form following:
First:I direct that my funeral expenses and all of
my just debts including estate,inheritance,collateral,transfer
and succession taxes shall be paid by my executor hereinafter
named,from my estate as an expense thereof.
Second:I give and bequeath to my brother,Charles F.
Kropp,now of Yonkers,New Yo~the sum of One Hundred (~100)
Dollars to be his absolutely.
~hird:I give to my sister,Louise C.Markel,now of
West Hartford,Conn.,the sum of One Hundred ($100)Dollars to be
hers absolutely.
Fourth:All the rest,residue and remainder of my
estate,real and personal,of whatever kind or nature,or whereve~
the same may be situated,I give,devise and bequeath in equal
shares to my three children,falter Edward Claussen,now of No.
50 Glenwood venue,Stratford,Connecticut,Florence Louise
Farnum,now of No.41 Hillcrest Road,Reading,Massachusetts,
and Howard Paul Claussen,now of No.50 boott Road,Dedham,
kassachusetts,provided however,in the event that any of my
children predecease me then I direct that the share so given shall
be taken by the issue of said deceased child and,in the event
that any of my children shall die without issue,then I direct
that the share so given shall be taken by the next of kin,or
legal heirs,of said deceased child.

Fifth:I nominate and appoint HIV~~SIDE TRuST COMPANY,
of Hartford,Connecticut,to be the Executor of this my Last Will
and Testament authorizing and empowering my executor to sell any
or all real estate or interest in real estate of which I may die
seized or possessed,and to execute proper conveyances for the
same.I request that no bond be required of my Executor in any
jurisdiction.
IN WITNESS ~EOF,I have hereunto set my seal and
have subscribed these presdnts,and do make,publish,declare
and ordain the same as and for and to be my last Will and Testament
in the presence of the witnesses attesting and sUbscribing the same
at my request this 26 day of October 1926.
