I,W.LEONARD GRIFFITH,of the Borough of Canonsburg.
Washington CountYI Pennsylvanial being of sound mind,memory and under-
standingl do hereby make,publish and declare this to be my Last Will and
Testamentl hereby revoking and making void all testamentary writings hereto-
fore made by me.
FIRST:I direct my executor to payout of my estate all of
my just debtsl including the expenses of my last illness and funeral.
SECOND:All the restl residue and remainder of my estate.
real and personal,of whatever nature and wheresoever situate which I may
own or shall have the right to dispose of at the time of my death,I give,devise
and bequeath unto my dear wife,MARTHA A.GRIFFITH,provided she shall
survive me.
THIRD:If my said wife.MARTHA A.GRIFFITH.shall
have predeceased me,then and in such event.I do hereby give,devise and
bequeath all of the aforesaid rest,residue and remainder of my estate,both
real and personal.including any property as to which I shall have the right of
disposal at the time of my death.as follows:
(a).ONE -THIRD {1/3rd}thereof unto my
brother.ALFRED R.GRIFFITH.provided he is living
at the time of my death.but if he shall have predeceased
me.then and in such event.in equal shares,to and among
those of his children who are living at the time of my
death.
(b).ONE -THIRD {1/3rd}thereof unto my
sister-in-law.LYDIA A.REED,provided she is

predeceased me,then and in such event,in equal
shares,to and among those of her children who
are living at the time of my death.
(c).ONE-SIXTH (1/6th)thereof,in
equal shares,to and among the children of my
brother,Alfred R.Griffith,who are living at the
time of my death.
(d).ONE-SIXTH (l/6th)thereof,in
equal shares,to and among the children of my
sister-in-law,Lydia A.Reed,who are living
at the time of my death.
FOURTH:I direct that all Estate,Transfer,Inheritance
and like taxes,and any interest or penalty thereon,imposed or assessed by
the Federal or State Governments,or any other duly constituted authority,
upon or with respect to property passing under this my Will,and with respect
to any property passing outside of my Will,which is required to be included
in my taxable estate,be paid out of my residuary estate,and that no portion
thereof shall be apportioned to or collected from any legatee,devisee,or
other recipient of property constituting part of my taxable estate.
FIFTH:I do hereby appoint my dear wife"MARTHA A.
GRIFFITH,Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament,but in case of her
death,incapacity or refusal to act or continue as my Executrix,I appoint the
MELLON BANK"N.A ••Executor.I give and grant to my personal represen-
tative'in addition to the authority conferred by law,the power to sell all or
any part of my property,real or personal,not herein specifically devised or

bequeathed,at public or private sale..at such time and for such prices and
upon such terms and conditions as she or it may see fit,or in her or its
discretion,to retain the same for distribution in kind,and the power,but not
the duty,to invest any cash without being limited to legal investments.No
