Sworn and Subscribed Before Me
LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I,MATTHEW C.GILPIN,of Carroll Township,Washington County,
Pennsylvania,declare this to be my Last Will and revoke any Will heretofore
made by me.
FIRST:I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses,
including my gravemarker,shall be paid from my estate as soon as practical
after my decease.
SECOND:All the rest,residue and remainder of my estate,real
and personal,I give,devise and bequeath to my wife,Margaret S.Gilpin,
providing that she shall survive me by one hundred eighty days.
THIRD:Should my wife,Margaret S.Gilpin,pre-decease me or
die on or before the one hundred eightieth day following my death,I devise
and bequeath the residue of my estate of every nature and wherever situate
as follows:
A.I give and bequeath my brass kettle and candle-
sticks to my sister-in-law,Grace Burns.
B.I devise and bequeath all of my real estate and the
contents in my home to my friends,Dayton Fleming and Melvina Fleming,his
wife,their heirs and assigns.
C.I give and bequeath all of my United States Govern-
ment bonds and all other personal property,including the automobile,to my
brother-in-law,Matthew Burns.
FOURTH:I constitute and appoint my friend,Melvina Fleming,
as Executrix of this my Last Will.
FIFTH:If at any time my wife is unable to take care of herself
or handle her property,I constitute and appoint my friends,Day ton Fleming
and Melvina Fleming,as Guardians of the person and estate of my wife.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
day of July,A.D.,1970.

Testator herein named,as and for his Last Will in the presence of us,who
at his request,in his presence and in the presence of each other,have here-
