County and state of Pennsylvania,do make and pUblish t is for my
last Will and Testament,hereby revoking all former ~ills by me
at any time heretofore made.

IRST.I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses
be ully paid as soon as convenient after my decease.

IIewitt,all my estate,real,personal and mixed prolerty,whatsoever
and wheresoever,of which I shall die seized and possessed,or to
which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease,for and durin~
her natural life only,and at her death I ~ive,devise and bequeath
t e remainder to my five children,to-wit,Nettie May Hootman,Her-
man R.Hewitt,William Byron Hewitt,Bartha V.Phillips and T"iley
G.Hewitt,share and share alike.
THIRD.Should it be necessary in the settlement of my es-
tate to sell,I hereby authorize,empower and direct the executrix
of this my Will to sell and convey any or all of t e property,real
or personal,eitler as a whole or in parts,either at ublic or at
private sale and to execute and deliver to the purchaser or purchas-
ers a lleed or deeds for the same,the sane as I could do if Iivin
and the renlainder of the proceeds shall pass as provided in the
Second Item hereof.
Lastly.I nominate,constitute and appoint my wife,Amanda
A.Hewitt,executrix of this my last viII and testament.
