LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I.Sarah Ann Hodgson,of Monongahela City,Washington
County,Pennsylvania,being of souDd mind,memory,and under-
standing,do make,publish and declare this to be my last will
and testament,hereby revoking and making void each and all for-
mer wills by me at any time heretofore made.
F1RST:-I order and direct my Executors,hereinafter
named,to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses,as soon as
conveniently may be done after my decease.
SECOND:-I direct that my body be buried in the Monon-
gahela Cemetery by the side of my deceased husband,and that a
double marker be erected at our graves,nat to exceed in cost the
sum of Two Hundred (~OO)Dollars.
THIRD:-All my property,real.personal,and mixed,af
whatsoever kind,and nature,and wheresoever situated,I order
and direct to be converted into money as soon as the same can
conveniently be done after my decease;and for that purpose,I
do hereby authorize,and empower my said executors hereinafter
named to sell and dispose of my said property,at public sale,
for the best price that may be reasonably obtained for the ~ame,
and by proper deed or deeds,conveyances or aSsurances in the
law,to grant,convey,and assure the same to the purchaser or
purchasers thereof in fee simple.
And when the whole of my said estate shall be convert-
ed into money as aforesaid and after the Payment of my just debts,
funeral expenses,cost of marker,,and expenses of administration,
then I will and direct that the Same shall be disposed of as
follows,to wit:-
The one-fifth (1/5)thereof 1 give,devise and be-
queath unto my daughter,Emma Chester.
The one-fifth (1/5)thereof I give,devise and be-
queath unto my daughter,Lillie Smith.
The one-fifth (1/5)thereof I give,devise and be-
queath unto my son,Alfred Hodgson.
The one-fifth (1/5)thereof I give,devise and be-
queath unto my daughter,Mary Coulter.

The one-fifth (1/5)there~f I give.devise and be-
queath unto my daughter.Sarah Perry.
FOURTH:-I nominate.constitute and appoint my son.
plfred Hodgson and my daughter.Sarah Perry,to be the joint ex-
ecutors of this my last will and testament;said Executors to re-
ceive a commission of One Hundred Fifty (150)Dollars,(to be
equally divided between them)in addition to their distributive
shares in my estate;it being understood,however,that the sum
of Seventy-five (75)Dollers,advanced by me in my life time,to
pay a certain note at Alexander and Company bank,for the benefit
of said Alfred Hodgson,shall be taken and considered as full
payment in advance of his commission,and shall be accounted for
accord ingly.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I,Sarah Ann Hodg;fn,the Testa-
trix have hereunto set my hand and seal this ~day of August
