And as to all of my estate,whether the saem be real,personal or mixed,of whatsoever kind and nature and wheresoever situate,of which I die seized and possessed,I give,devise and bequeath as follows: FIRST:I direct the payment out of my estate of the expenses of my last illness and funeral expenses as soon as possible following me decease. SECOND:I give and beqUEath the following shares of stock to the persons named: a)All of my Columbia Gas Company stock to RUTH FRYE LAIR. b)All of my Pittsburgh Plate and Glass stock to MARY ELEANOR FRYE COLSON. c)All fo my Johns Manville stock to JANE FRYE DAVIS. THIRD:All the rest,residue and remainder of my estate of whatsoever kind and nature and wheresoever situate,be converted into cash and divided in to three (3)equal parts and distributed as follows: a)One share of my estate I give devise and bequeath to my daughter, RUTH FRYE LAIR. b)One share of my estate I give devise and bequeath to my daughter MARY ELEANOR FRYE COLSON. c)One share of my estate I give,devise and bequeath to my daughter,JANE FRYE DAVIS. d)It is my declaration and direction that my daughter,RUTH FRYE LAIR,shall have the option and privilege to elect as part of her residuary sharE, my dwelling house and the lots of ground appertaining thereto for the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00)Dollars,which said sum,if elected,to be accepted by her as part of her residuary estate,which reduces her one-third (1/3) share by the value of Five Thousand ($5,000.00)Dollars.I recognize that the sum which she has in effect been given the options of purchase in this,my Last Will and Testament,is less than a fair market value for the premises. However,RUTH FRYE LAIR has been a faithful and helpful daughter during my lifetime and has cared for my property to the degree that I chose to recognize the benefits she has conferred upon me in my lifetime by offering her this opportunity and election.In the event that RUTH FRYE LAIR refuses or fails to elect said option within a period of ninety (90)days from the date of my death,I direct that MARY ELEANOR FRYE COLSON,and JANE FRYE DAVIS shall be given a similar opportunity to purchase jointly my said premises for the same dollar figure.
