I,Clark M.Hackney,of the Borough of East Washing- ton,Washington County,Pennsylvania,do make,publish and declare the following as and for my last will and testament. First:I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as the same can be done with conven- ience in the course of the settlement of my estate. Second:I give and devise to my daughter Lyda M.Ullom my house and lot (the lot containing 1.977 acres,more or less)in South Strabane Township,Washington County,Pennsylvania,for and during the term of the natural lite of my said daughter Lyda.Up- on the death of my said daughter Lyda I direct that the said house and lot be sold by my e~ecutor hereinafter named and the proceeds divided among the children and the issue of any deceased children of my said daughter Lyda in equal shares,except that the issue of any deceased child shall have and take equally among themselves the share which their deceased parent would have taken had such deceas- ed parent been liVing at the time of the death of my said daughter Lyda. Third:Within one year after my death I direct that my home property situate at the corner of East Beau street and Morgan Avenue in the Borough of East Washington aforesaid be sold by my executor and I hereby give and bequeath the proceeds of the sale thereof as follows:- (1)To my daughter Lyda M.Ullom the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00),the same to be taken,held and enjoyed by her absolutely in her own right; (2)To each of the children of my son Charles E.Hackney the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00).If any child of my sa~d son Charles E.Hackney shall be deceased at the time of •• my death,leaving issue,I direct that said issue shall receive per stirpes the legacy of $250.00 which the parent would have received had such parent been living at the time of my death; (3)To Kenneth Charles Hackney,my great-grandson,the sum of Two Hundred And Fifty Dollars ($250.00); (4)To the Methodist Protestant Church at Amity,Washing ton County,Pennsylvania,the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500.00);and (5)The residue of the proceeds of the sale of said East Beau Street p~operty I give and bequeath to my executor hereinafter named as trustee,to hold and invest for the use and benefit of my daughter Lillie M.Hackney during the term of her natural life;and at the death of said Lillie M.Hackney the corpus of said residue is hereby given and bequeathed to my said son Charles E.Hackney absolutely. Fourth:All at the rest,residue and remainder of my estate and property of whatsoever kind,real or pep8onal,and wheresoever situate,I give and bequeath unto my said son Charles E.Hackney,I absolutely,with the request that he permit my said daughter Lillie M.Hackney to have the use of any of my furniture and household goods which she may desire so long as she may live. Fifth:In connection with the sale of any or all of my real estate above mentioned by my executor hereinafter named,I authorize and empower my said executor to make sale of the same at such time,to such person or persons and upon such terms as he shall deem to be for the best interest of my estate,except that,as above prOVided,my residence property on East Beau street shall not be sold until one year after my decease unless my said daUghter Lillie M.Hackney shall agree in writing to an earlier sale thereof.
