declare the followin~to be a Codicil to my Last Will and Testa-
ment dated the 5th day of November,1925:-
In lieu of the following provi sian contained in the
fifth paragraph of IllY said will,to-wit,"And when and as they
respectively attain the age of thirty years,then to pay to
them their proportionate share of the principal of said trust
fund",I substitute the following:-"And when and as they
respectively attain the age of twenty-one years,then to pay to
them their proportionate share of the principal of said trust
fund"•

Washington County,Pennsylvania,being of sound mind,memory and

testaments and writlngs in the nature thereof by me at any time

1.I direct my Executor hereinafter named to pay all
my just debts and funer[ll expenses as soon after my decease a.
conveniently can be done.
2.I give and bequEath to my sister,Mary Borland
Farrar,all my household effects,furni ture,~rearing appare 1 and
jewelry to be 11 rs absolutely and I direct my Executor to payout
of my estate the inheri hence tax assef:sed acainst the property
included in this item.
3.All of th{'rest,residue and remainder of my
estate,I give,cevise and bequeath to the Citizens National Bank
of Washington,Pennsylvania,a Corpcration,jn truGt hoviever,to
manace,pa.y out and dis~'ose of the principal C'!ld incor:.e th"reof
a,s rereinafter directed.
1.I direct the said Trustee to pav tlE entire an~ua
net income of tlle said Truct Fund to my sister,Mary Borland
arrar,for and during her natural life;said pa.Yments of income to
be rmde semi-annually.

use of my grand-nephew,John Borland Irvine and to pay to him
the entire annual net income from said Trust Fund in semi-annual
payments for and during the term of his natural life and upon his
death to pay the income arising from said Trust F'J.nd in equal snares

parent would have taken if living;and when 8nd l.S they respect-
ively attain the age of thirty years,then to pay to them their
proportionate share of the principal of said trust fund.The
share of any child or children dying during minority and without
lavlful issue shall ve st in and be payable to hi.s,he r or the ir
survivine brothers and sisters share and sl~re alike.
6.Should the said John Borland Irvine fail to survive
my sister,}~ry Borland Farrar,or,surviving her,die without
leaving such lavlful child or children or the issue thereof sur-
viviyg~him,I direct my caid Trustee to pay the one-third part
of the said Trust Fund to the Board of Home Missions of the
United Presbyterian Church of North America;u one-third part
thereof to the Board of Foreign Missions of the United Presby-
terian Church of north America;and the remaining one-tbird part
thereof to the Board of Trustees of the United Presbyterian Orphans
orne located in what is known as Allegheny,on the north side of the
City of Pittsburgh,Allegheny County,Pennsylvania;to be used by
said Boards of Home and Foreign EUssions and Orphans Home for such
purposes as they may deem proper in such manner,however,that the
rincipal thereof shall not be diminished but shall remain a per-
pe~ual fund to be known as John Borland and Mary Ann Brown Borland
.emorial Fund.
I nominate,constitute and appoint the Citizens
National Bank of Was;lington,Pennsylvania,a corporation,to be
the Executor of this my last will and testament and to be tl~
Trustee nerein and to act as Guardian of any m~nors taking hereunder,
and I give to it as Executor in the settlement of my estate and as
Trustee after it shall have settled my estate,the follOWing powers,
all or any of which it may exercise in itu own sound judgment an

(a)For the purpose of converting my estate into

to sell either at public or private sale,for such price and

and deliver all or any of the shares of stocl~s,mortgages,bonds,

securities of a like nature.

out beine confined to such securities as are authorized and
sanctioned by the laws of Pennsylvania as proper investments to
be made by Trustees.

effecting said pro~erty or the title thereto.

estate for any length of term and upon such conditions and for
uch rentals as it may deem proper.
