I,William R.Crispin,of North Franklin Township,
Washington County,Pennsylvania,do make this my last will and tes-
tament,hereby revoking all former wills.
Item 1.I make,constitute and appoint the Real
Estate Trust Company of Washington,(Pa.),as the executor of this
will and as testamentary trustee to carry out all the trusts and
provisions thereof.
Item 2.I will;devise and bequeath to said Real
Estate Trust Company of Washington,IPa.),in trust,all of my
property of every kind and nature,real,personal and mixed:to
hold,manage,invest and accumulate the same for the purposes,and
to apply and dispose of the same in the manner hereinafter specified.
Item 3.If my widow,Martha E.Crispin,survives
me,my said executor and trustee shall pay to her at convenient times
all of the net income to accrue on my estate up to the amount of
$5,000.00 per year;any income which may accumulate in excess of
said $5,000.00 per year,to be added to and form a part of the cor-
pus of my estate.On the other hand,if the net income to arise
from my estate shall not average at least $5,000.00 for my widow
each year,the deficit is to be made up to her (if she so desires)
out of the principal of my estate by my executor and trustee,in the
exercise of its best jUdgment and discretion.
Item 4.If Elizabeth Palmer,Who has been a faith-
ful servant of our family for many years,survives me,I give and
bequeath to her Four Hundred Dollars per year so long as she may
live,as soon as the money which she now possesses has been used
up by her,to be paid by my said executor and trustee.
Item 5.Upon the death of my wife,my executor
and trustee shall pay the sum of $2,000.00 to each of my following
half-brothers and sister:James L.Crispin,Abraham M.Crispin and

Martha A.Bigler.
Item 6.Upon the death of my wife,my executor
and trustee aforesaid shall pay to Garnet Sumney of VTaShin2:ton,
Pennsylvania,the Sunl of $1,000.00.
Item 7.In the event of the death of any of the
legatees named in the last two preceding paragraphs before the death
of my wife,tp~respective legacy designed for such deceased legatee
shall lapse and become void.
Item 8.I authorize and empower my executor and
trustee,in tp~exercise of its sound discretion,to sell any of
my real estate at either public or private sale and to convey the
s~me in fee simple to the purchasers thereof.
Item 9.The rest,residue and remainder of my es-
tate shall be held,managed,invested and allowed to accumulate by '1
my executor and trustee and its successors in office,for the pur-
pose of founding and maintaining a home for aged women,to be known
as,and conducted under the name of "The Vlilliam R.Cirspin and
artha E.Crispin Home for Aged Women";hereby vesting discretion
in my said executor and trustee and its successors in trust,to de-
termine and declare when such residue or fund has,through accUTIW_-
lations.,reached an amount reasonably sufficient for the said pur-
pose;hereby authorizing and empowering said execuyor and trustee and
its successor in ~e trust to determine,under the gUidance of its
board of directors or their executive officers,what portion of such
accumulated estate or funds shall be applied to buildings and what
portion thereof shall be retained as an endowment fund for the sup-
port and maintenance of such home.
Item 10.It is my will that when the said home
shall becolm operative,aged women who have at any time worked for
me and their children and issue,shall,in all cases,have preference

over others;and that aged women,native born or long resident .in
Washington County,Pennsylvania,shall always be preferred to those
born or living without its borders.
Item 11.I hereby repose in rrry said executor and
trustee and its successor in charge of the trust,full power and
authority to do and perform every act and thing relative to or con-
nected with the said trust and home,which in its or their sound
discretion and judgment,shall be deemed necessary or adYisable
for the benefit and promotion of the objects and benefactions of
the said charitable trust and home,the same as I myself could do
if l~ving and personally present.

PETITION FOR APPOINTMENT OF
ADMINISTRATOR D.B.N.,C.T.A.
To R.J.COULSON,Register of Wills:-
The petition of MARTHA E.CRISPIN respectfully
represents:-
1.That William R.Crispin died on the 5th day
of May,1930,leaving a last will and testament probated of record
in Will Book No.46,page 33,wherein and whereby the said testator
appointed the Real Estate Trust Company executor of said will.
2.That the First Bank &Trust Company of Wash-
ington,Pa.,an insolvent banking institution,successor to the
Real Estate Trust Company,has heretofore filed its account and
been discharged by the Orphans'Court as said executor and it is
necessary that an administrator d.b.n.,c.t.a.be appointed.
3.That the residuary beneficiary is non-
existent and your petitioner,Martha E.Crispin,the widow of said
testator,is the life tenant of said estate.
WHEREFORE,your petitioner would pray the
Register to appoint George H.Krause as administrator d.b.n.,c.t.a.
of the estate of William R.Crispin,deceased.
And she will ever pray,etc.
