I,Robert H.Hallam,of the Barough of East ~ashi!!lg
ton,ashington County,Pennsylvania,being of sound mind,m~ory an
unders tanding,do hereby make and execute this my last will and :t
testament,hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time here-
tofore made.
FffiST.I hereby make,constitute and appo int the
Citizens National Batik of Washington,Pennsylvania,a corporation,
domiciled and doing business in the City of ashingtan.Washington
County.Pennsylvania.as the sale Executor of this my last will and
testament.and also constitute it to be my Testamentary Trustee,to
execute and perform all of the duties and trusts hereinafter speci-
fied and created.
SECOND.I give and bequeath unto my wife.Annetta M.
Hallam,all of my jewelry,clothing and all other strictly personal
effects;to be hers.absolutely and unconditiona1ly.
THIRD.I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife,
Annetta M.Hallam,all my household gOQds and furniture,books.fuel
household stores and provisions,and all other movable articles and
effects for domestic or household use,or ornament,now in,or which
shall be in or about or belonging to my present residence,or in any
d elling house where I may reside at the time of my decease;and I
also give and bequeath to my said wife.my automobiles and all
movable articles in or belonging t.o my garage at the time of my
decease,the same to be hers,absolutely and unconditionally
FOURTH.I do hereby give_and devise my house and lot
of ground now occupied by me as a residence,situate in the Borough
crt East Washington,ashington County.Pennsylvania.conveyed to me
by ~ohn E.Phillips b~deed dated March &9,1924.and of record in
the Recorder's Office of ashington County,Pennsylvania,in Deed
Book 519,pages22l and 222,and all other real estate by me ovmed at

the time of my death.\~erever situate.to my beloved wife.Annetta
•Hallam.her heirs and ass~ns.in fee simple.
FIFTH.I direct my said executor to pay.as soon as
convenient after my death.all of my just debts and funeral expenses.
SIXTH.I direct my said executor to purchase and
have erected.a suitable marker at my grave in our family lot in the
ashington Cemetery.located a t Washington.]Pennsylvania.
SEVENTH.All the rest.residue and remainder of my
estate of whatever nature which I may own or have the right to dis-
pose of at the time of my decease.I give and bequeath to my testa-
mentary trustee named in the First Item of this my ill.in trust.
nevertheless.for the following uses and purposes.hereby clothing
my trustee with full and complete discretion.and directing it to
use its best business judgment as to the time.manner.price and
terms of sale of all of my stocks.bonds,and mortgages.so as to
preserve and increase.if possible.the value of my said estate.and
to dispose of the income and principal in accordance with the pro-
visions of this my will.as follows:-
(a)To pay from said income unto my sister.
osanna T.Hallam.for and during the term of he.r natural life.or'
until the death of my wife.Annetta M.Hallam.if she shall die
before my said sister.the sum of Twelve hundred (l200.00)Dollars
per year.to be paid to her in monthly payments of One hundred
(100.00 Dollars each.if tilere shall be sufficient income to pay
such amount;if not,then whatever portion of said income shall be
available.shall be paid to my said sister.as herein provided.
I direct.also.that my said trustee shall,upon the death of my
said sister.apply and pay from the income of my estate.a sufficien
s:um not to exceed Five hundred (500.00)Dollars for an appropriate
casket and funeral expenses incident to her burial.which sum shall
also include the purchase and setting of a marker at her grave.
(b)After retaining and applying the portion
of the income from said trust fund in accordance ~ith the provis~s
of the preceding paragraph in favor of my sister,I direct my said
trustee to payout of the income of said trust fund (if there be

sufficient.and if not.5G far as the same shall reach}.unto my
sister.Sophia.l!.Parshall.the sum of Six hundred (600.00)Dollars
per year.payable in s~of Fi~ty ($50.00)Dollars per month.I
direct.also.that my said trust.ee shall.upon the death.of my said
sister.sophia M.Parshall.apply and p'a¥from the income of my
estate.a sufficient amount not to exceed Five hundred ($50Q.00)
Dollars ror an appropriate casket and funeral expenses incident to.
her burial.which sum shall also include the purchase and setting of
a marker at her grave.
Cc)The rest.residue and remainder-of the
income from said trust rund,if any,shall be paid by my said truste
to my wife.Annetta M.Hallam.rex and during the term.of her-natura
life.said payments to be made to her annually.
(d)All of said annuities or pa.yments shall
accumulate from the date of my death and shall be paid as hereinbe-
fore provided.and to cammence as soon as the condition of my estate
shall permit;!do hereby author iz.e my executor.dur ing the admin-
istration of my estate.to make advancenents on account.to any of
such annuitants wh se needs therefor re so urgent that they cannot
conveniently await the assembling of my estate into said trust rund.
(el If any of said two annuitants.Rosanna T.
Hallam or Sophia :M.Parshall,shall die before my wife.then the
annuity or payments theretofore paid such beneficiary,shall there-
after go and be paid to my said wife.Annetta M.Hallam,for and
during th.e term a f her na tural 1 if"e•
(f)Upon the death of my said wife,Annetta M.
Kallam.then!direct my trustee herein named.to pay to my nephew,
Donald Hallam.son of George T.Hallam.the sum Glf Ten thousand
(10,000.00)Dollars.providing my said nephew.Donald Hallam.is
then living;and further.!direct my trustee to pay to Anna M.
Saltzman If.artin.niece of my wife.the sum of Ten thousand
($lO.OOQ.OO)Dollars.providing the said Anna •Saltzman Martin is
then living;and further.I direct my trustee herein named,to pay
to my niece.Relen Hallam olfe,the sum of Ten thousand (10,000.00

Dollars.pr ov iding:my said niece.Helen Hal~am olfe,is then living
and unmarried.and if there should be insufficient funds to pay the
said three bequests of 'ren thousand Dollars ea.ch.they sha.l.l abate
pro rata;and further,I do hereby direct that the income from the
remaining corpus of the trust fund which was payable to my wife.in
the event that my sisters.Rosanna T.Ha~l.am and Sophia J.!.Parshall.
(or either of them),are living at the time of the death of my wife.
shall be paid to Anna M.Saltzman rtin.
(g)Upon the death of the three annuitants,
namely:-my wife.Annetta M.Hallam.and my sisters.Rosanna T.
Hal~am.and Sophia M.Parshall.I direct that distribution be made of
my entire trust estate as hereinafter provided.to-wit:-I give and
bequeath to Anna M.Saltzman Martin.niece of my wife.if then
living.the entire balance of my said estate.and if she be dead,
leaving a child or chi~dren.then the same shall be paid to her said
child or to her-chi~dren in equal shares,and in the event that she
be dead,without leav ing a child or children to survive her,then to
my legal heirs then ~iving.the same to be divided among them.per
stirpes and not per capita.
EIGKTH.I direct my executor to pay I inheritance.
estates.succession and legacy taxes to whi my estate or the trans
f'er of any property hereunder may be subject.and to charge such
taxes as a part of the expenses of administration.
NINTH.I wil~that no beneficiary.legatee.
annuitant.or any person receiving anything of value under this will
shall have power to anticipate any payment.legacy or income.nor
assign,transfer or pledge the same;nor sha~l such payments.
legacies or income be subject to the contro~of any of them.until
actually paid into their hands;nor shall any of such payments.
legacies or income be attachahle.or in any manner liab)le for the
debts.contracts.engagements.obligations or torts o:f said respec-
tive beneficiaries,legatees or annuitants.

TENTH.I request that in the event that his services

r-e available to the Executor hereunder.Harry L.Flilliams be retaine
as the Attorney in the administration of my estate,because of his
f~iliarity with my affairs.
