of Wasnin~ton and state of Pennsylvania,being of sound m{nd and
memory and understanding,do make this my last will and t~qta~ent
in manner and form following.
1.I give and bequeath to my grand daughter,LouiSA Carline
Brown,as an incentive to hir.h scholarsh p.mw Gold Meda.l.which I
wun at Wiloerfo~ce University.
2.I give and bequeath to my neice,Elva Washin~ton Spraggs,ofthecityofMcKeesport,Pennsylvania,the sum of Flfty(S~n.nO)Dollars.
3.1 6 ive and bequeath to my dau;,ht,er-in-Iaw,Ethel Hadge Brown.of Mor 6 antown,W.Va.,the sum of Fifty ($50.00)Dollars.
4.I deVIse and bequeath all the rest of my real and personal
estate and effects unto my executor,hereinafter named,upon truRt,
to sell,call in,and convp-rt the same into money.(with power in
his discretion,to postpone such sale,calling in and convnrsion)and
after payin o thereout all of my debts and funeral and tp,sta~pntary
e~pense8,to pay and divide the capital and income of my residuary
esta.te among my children,namely,William Hilbert Brown.,Tohn Orwin
Brown,Louise Sylvestine Brown Smith and Ida Belle Brown,in equal
shares absolutely,provided always.th~t if any child 0'mine shall
die before me,lAaving issue,the share of such child Shall not
