I direct th~all my just,debts and funeral expenses be fully paid and satisfied as Boon as conveniently may be after my death. All real estate in my possession at the time of my death is to be sold or converted into cash by my hereinafter named executrix or executor or as may be agreed upon by my heirs among thems~lv~s as to its dis- posal and this sum added to the sum total of my estate. Much of the furniture in the home was purchased oy my wife Ella R. Headlee,I desire that she shall make proper ;claim to this furniture if she should survive me.I desire also that she may have any furniture in the home or books from the library (except shch aritcles or books as may belong to the children),which she may desire for her own use and Without cost to her.This is in addition to the bequest made later to the said Ella R. Headlee.. If my children so desire they are privileged to divide among th m- selves in a fairly equitable manner and agreeable to all,any furniture or books of my esti1~e remaining aft~r their Mother,Ella R.Headlee has made her selectio~.If there should be furniture,books or other articles of value remaining aft~r this division is made,it is my desire that such articles be sold and the proceeds from the sale ther~of be added to the total amount of my estate. Bequest 0.1 I will and bequeath to my Wife,Ella R.Headlee,the sum of Five Thousand three hundred (~5,300.00)Dollars.This bequest in- cludes certain insurance moneys which will be paid to my wife Ella R. Headlee at th~time of my death,the said Ella R.Headlee being benificiary in all insurance carried by me. The interpretation of this rovision is that my wife Ella R.Headlee sijall receive from my estate in addition to the amount of money paid to ,. her by certain Insurance Companies at the time of my death the sum of money suffici~nt tomake the total bequest to Ella R.Headlee equivalent to 5,300.00. Bequest No.2,I will and bequeath to my daughter May Headlee,my oldest child,the one fourth part of my residuary estate ~ter the above provisicns have bee~met.or to h~r children in the case of her death in the mean- time and should she be survived by children. Bequest No.3,I will and bequeath to my daughter Esther Headlee my secarl child,the one-fourth part of my residuary estate after bequt-sts to the mother Ella R.H adlee have been net.If at the time of my death the said Esther Headlee is still a minor child,this inheritance shall be safely invested (suffici~nt portion of this bequest or if need oe the entire sum be used to complete the education of the said Esther Headlee if deemed adVisable by the executrix and guardian in this case)and this sum With accumulated returns shall bepaid to the said Esther Headlee when she becomes twenty-one years of age.In case of the death of the said Esther Headlee in the meantime and she should be survived by children, this bequest to bepaid to her children. Bequest No.4,I will and bequeath bo my son James A.Headlee,my third child the one fourth part of my residuary estate after bequests to the Mother Ella R.Headlee have been met.as the said James A.Headlee is now a""I minor,all the provisions in bequest No.3.made to Esther Headlee,a minor shall hold good in this bequest. Be~uest No.5,I will and bequeath to my son Thomas W.~adlee,my fourth child,the one-fourth part a my residuary estate after bequests to the Mother Ella R.Headlee have been met.Since the said Thomas W. H adlee is now a minor,all the pr"ovisions in bequest No.4 made to James A.Headlee,also a minor shall hold good in this bequest also. I hereby a~point my wife Ella R.Headlee and Allan C.Jones,either or both as they may agree,as executrix or or executor of my estate. It is my desire that Allan C.Jones act as guardian of any of my minor children in th~event of my death before any of my children have attained the age of twenty-one years. .. Inthe event of the death of Ella R.Headlee,My wife,previous to my death,I provide ·that the amounts bequeathed to her shall be equally divided among my surviving children or the children of my children. In th~event of the death of any of my children mentioned in this instru~ent,p'revious to my death and if such should not be survived by children,the bequest in that cas shall be equally divided among my surviving children or their children.
