Be it Remembered,that I,J.A.Howden,of the Borough
of East Washington,Washington County,Pennsylvania,hereby
intending to dispose of all my estate,real,personal and mi~ed,
wheresoever situate,do make,pUblish and declare the follow-
ing to be my last Will and Testament,hereby revoking all
wills,codicils and testamentary dispositions by me at any time
heretofore made.
First:I direct that all my just debts and funeral ex-
penses shall be paid by my executor,hereinafter named,as soon
as conveniently may be done after my decease.
Second:I direct that my body be interred in the•
Washington Cemetery,at Washington,pennsylvania,and that
appropriate lettering be placed on my monument in said Cemetery.
Third:I give,devise and bequeath to A.O.Hildebrand
all my right,title and interest in the business conducted under I
the name of J.A.Howden &co.,and all bank accounts standing
in the said name at the time of my death,and all claims belong-
ing to the said J.A.Howden &Co.,e~isting at the time of my
decease.
Fourth:All the rest,residue and remainder of my
estate,real,personal and mi~ed,whatsoever and wheresoever the
same is situate,I order and direct to be converted into money
as soon as the same can conveniently be done after my deceased,
and for that purpose I do hereby authorize,empower and direct
my executor hereinafter named,or his successor,to sell,dis-
pose of and convey,in fee simple,all my real estate,either
by public or private sale or sales,without any liability of the
purchasers for the application,non-application or misapplicat-
ion of the purchase moneys,hereby intending to confer upon my
said executor,or his successor,full power and authority to
make good and sufficient deeds to the purchasers of ~y real
estate as fully.as I might do myself if living.

Fifth:I give and bequeath all the rest of the proceeds
of the sales hereinabove directed to be made unto my niece,
Jennie McJunkins,and Annie YOhuant,both of whom are now re-
siding.with me,the same to be divided between them equally.
SiBth:I nominate,constitute and appoint A.O.Hilde-
brand,of Washington,pennsylvania,e~ecutor of this my last
Will and Testament,and I do hereby also select,nominate,and
constitute and appoint Lloyd O.Hart,attorney at law,of
Washington pa.,as the attorney for my executor in the settle-
ment of my estate.My executor can sell or not,the home that
I live in,as the ones it goes to may choose.
In Witness Whereof,I,J.A.Howden,the testator
have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this
14th day of August,1923.
