First:I direct the executors of this will here- inafter named to pay and satisfy rn¥just debts and funeral ex- penses as soon as conveniently may be done after my death. Second:I Will,devise and bequeath unto my be- loved wife,Mattie Conklin,all of my cash,money in bank,money at interest,proceeds of life insurance policy,stocks,bonds and other securities which I may have at the time of my decease;also my horse named Bill,together with buggy,and also all my household goods and furniture,including safe;to have and to hold all of the said personal property absolutely and in fee simple. Third:I Will,devise and bequeath unto my son, Grover S.Conklin,all of my farming implements and machinery, wagons,harness and life stock,including the horse named Dick, but excluding the horse named Bill,which I have given to his mother in the preceding paragraph. Fourth:I give~devise and bequeath unto my said wife and to my said son my Studebaker automobile to be owned by them jointly and in equal shares. Fifth:I give,devise and bequeath unto my said beloved wife,Mattie Conklin,for and during the ter.m of her nat- ,•...... ural life the exclusive use and enjoyment of the mansion house on my Morris To\mahip farm hereinafter mentioned,together with the privilege of yard and garden,with the understanding,however, that my said son,Grover S.Conklin,is to have the privilege of residing in that part of the mansion house aforesaid now occupied by him so long as SUCll arrangement is satisfactory to my said wife; she having the right to compel him and his family to vacate the said premises at any time she deems such measure to be desirable and for the best interests of all parties. Sixth:I give,devise and bequeath unto my said son,Grover S.conklin,in fee simple my said farm situate in Mor- ris Township,nashington County,pennsylvania,containing about one hundred twenty (120)acres;subject,however,to the life in- terest in the said house,yard and garden hereinbefore vested in his mother;and subject,moreover,to the provision and condition that my said son shall at all times see that his mother is suf- ficiently and properly furnished with food,clothing,support, medical attention,fuel and other necessaries of life,as she may reasonably need or require;which maintenance and support for her natural life I hereby expressly charge as a lien upon the said farm so hereby devised to him;and subject,furthermore, to the condition that my said son will take care of any live stock which my said wife may own or acquire,free of expense to her. For his so taking care of her live stock,he is to have the right to use the horse and buggy hereinabove bequeathed to her at such times as she may not desire to use the same. Seventh:In case my said son shall not survive me, but shall leave children or issue surviving me,then such children or issue of my son are to be entitled to and receive all of the • devises,bequests and benefits herein provided for my said son. But if I am not survived by my said son or any child or issue of his,then the share or portion of my estate herein provided for him shall go to and vest in my beloved wife,if she be then living.In case neither my said wife nor my said son,nor any child or issue of his are living at the time of my death,then and in that case I give,devise and bequeath from the corpus of my estate the sum of One thousand ($1;000.00)Dollars unto the general treasury of the Upper Tenmile Presbyterian Church located at Prosperity,Washington Coupty,Pennsylvania,and the rest,resi- due and remainder of my estate of every kind and nature,real, personal and mixed,I give,devise and bequeath unto my blood relatives to be divided among them in the proportion prescribed by the intestate laws of the Commonwealth of pennsylvania,as though I had died without leaVing any will. Eighth:I direct the executors of this will,or the survivor of them,to sell and convey my property situate in the Borough of Washington,Washington County,pennsylvania,con- sisting of the house and lot on Victoria street,at either pub- lic or private sale,and at such time and for such price as to them shall seem prudent and advisable;hereby authoriZing the said executors,or the survivor of them,to mBJre,execute,ac- knowledge and deliver a good and sufficient deed of conveyance, vesting fee simple title in the purchaser thereof,without lia- bility on his part for the application of purchase money.I direct that my said executors,or the surviv~r of them,shall in- vest the said proceeds received from the sale of the said Uictoria Street property in such form of securities as to them shall seem meet and advisable.The net income or interest from such pro- .. ceeds shall be paid to my beloved wife for and during the term of her natural life;the net corpus at her death to pass to and vest in my son,Grover S.Conklin,if he be then liVing or in his children or issue in case she be then dead;but in the event that neither he nor any child or issue survives his mother,then such net corpus to fall into my residuary estate and be distributed as hereinbefore indicated. Ninth:I give to my son,Grover S.Conklin,the privilege of my burial lot in the Prosperity cemetery for the in- terment of the bodies of himself and family,in case he or they care to accept such privilege. Tenth:All of the rest,residue and remainder of my estate,if any,I give,devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife in.fee simple. And,lastly,I hereby nominate,constitute and ap- point my beloved wife,Mattie Conklin,and my friend H.B;Hughes, of TIaslungton,Pennsylvania,to be the executors of this my last will and testament. ,In Witness Whereof,I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-seventh day of June,A. CODICIL. ~,Henry M.Conklin,do malee and publish the following as and for a codicil to the foregoing,my last will and testament, dated June 27th~1919,to wit:- In addition to the rights and privileges given to my wife in the second paragraph and elsewhere in said will,it is my will and I do further provide and direct that my said wire shall; d~ing her lifetime,have full and free access to,and use of,all outbuildings on said farm,in common with my son Grover,and also that my said wife shall have the right to go over and about said farm as and when she pleases,just in the Barne manner and to the same ext"Elnt as she does nmv while I am living;and she is never to be interfered with by anyone in the exercise and enjoyment of said rights and privileges.
