FIRST:I direct that my body be int9rred in our lot in (Section 1)in Greene Mount Cemetery,by the stde of my beloved husband,Robinson F.Downey,and my dear daugh~er,Claire L.RelBin5e~ and that the date of my death be engraved on the tombstone in our said lot.It is my desire that theservi6es of Samuel p.Weaver, mortician,be secured for said purposes.I further direct that all my just debts,funeral expenses and the expenses of settling my estate be first paid by my Executor hereinafter named. SECOND:My beloved husband's wishes concerning the graves in Greene Mount Cemetery are to be carried out as in his said ,1111 provided and after my burial in our lot in Section I in said cemetery no further burials shall be made in said lot. THIRD:My home on the corner of Greene and Washington Streets is not to be occupied until sold.It is my desire that my attorney,J.R.Scott,look after the house untt1 sold.If Ro1d for a public club or society,I give this club or society the pictures,rug,piano,and furniture in the library.This room must be called the "Downey Room".If sold to a private person, then this furniture in the library and the statues in the parlor will go to Waynesburg College,of Waynesburg,Pennsylvania,to be placed in a room to be called liTHE DOWNEY MUSEm.:".All the ivory and marble ornaments are to be placed in glass cases and put in the Downey Museum in the College.The furniture in the dining room is to be sold with the house.The furniture in the drawing room, except the piano,I give and bequeath to my brother,John C. Wilson's family,also three beds to his daughter,LOUISE \ITLSON. FOURTH:To my former housemaid or cook,ALICE DAVISON GREEN,I give the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00)Dollars. FIFTH:To ROBINSON DOWNEY REA,son of William C.Rea, of the City of Pittsburgh,Allegheny County,Pennsylvania,who is a namesake of my beloved husband,I give the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00)Dollars. SIXTH:To the FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania,I give the sum of Four Thousand ($1+,000.00)Dollars, upon the express condition that a window shall be placed in the new Church building with the name of Mr.and Mrs.Robinson F. Downey permanently engraved thereon.And with the further express condition that the said bequest is to be paid on the principal of the indebtedness due by said Church,and I charge my Executor T~th the duty of seeing that the same is so paid. SEVENTH:To the permanent Endowment Fund of WAYNESBURG COLLEGE,of Waynesburg,Pennsylvania,I give the sum of Four Thousand ($4,000.00)Dollars upon the express condition that a window be placed in the large chapel or in the President's Office with the names of Mr.and Mrs.Robinson F.Downey permanently engraved thereon. EIGHTH:I give and bequeath the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars to MOLLIE KNOX of Waynesburg,Pennsylvania;the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars to ELIZABETH DAY '(HITMAN of Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania;the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars to PORTER RINEHART,of Waynesburg,Pennsylvania,and the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars to JENNIE WISECARVER,formerly of Waynesburg,Pennsylvania,but now of New Orleans,LOUisiana. NINTH:I give and bequeath the sum of Six Thousand ($6000.00)Dollars unto THE UNION TRUST COMPANY OF PITTSBURGH,IN TRUST,NEVERTHELESS,for the following uses and purposes,to-wit: To inv~st and reinvest the same,without being limited however to those investments designated by the laws of the Common- weath of Pennsylvania as legal investments for truAt funds;to collect,recover and receive the income therefrom arising as the Bame shall become due and payable and,after paying thereout the necessary expenses incident to the management of the trust,in- cluding the Trustee's compensation of five (5%)per centum on the gross income collected,to pay over the same semi-annually and in equal shares to the children of my deceased brother,John C.Wilsor., namely,VIRGINIA,LOUISE and ROBINSON,and to the survivors and survivor thereof,for and during the full term of their natural lives and for the life of the survivor.Upon the death of the last survivor of said children this trust shall end and the corpus of this trust shall descend to and be divided among the children of my said nieces and nephew,per capita and not per stirpes.In the event that said nieces and nephew shall all die without leaving children any of them to survive,then upon the death of the last survivor,the corpus of this trust shall be distributed as directed in this my Will concerning the residue of my estate. TENTH:I give and bequeath to MRS.MAY FOLEY LEDYARD of 14 East 60th Street,New York City,the sum of Three Hundred (~300.00)Dollars. ELEVENTH:I give and bequeath to the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars;to the local society of the C.A.R.called Ida Cummins Society,One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars,and to the local society of the D.A.R.called John Corbley Chapter,One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars. TWELFTH:I ~ve and bequeath to GREENE COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL of Waynesburg,Pennsylvania,the Bum of Two Thousand ($2000.00)Dollars,the same to be used by said hospital in the erection of a new building;pending the erection of said bUilding, however,the said Two Thousand ($2000.00)Dollars is to be invested by said Hospital,in legal securities for trust funds in Pennsyl- vania,and the income and accumUlations therefrom to be invested until such time as a new hospital shall be erected.This gift is also made with the distinct understanding that no person financially unable to pay,shall be refused admittance and treatment in the hospital,and further,that one wing or room therein ahall be named for Robinson F.Downey. THIRTEENTH:I give and bequeath to the Library Club of 1Yaynesburg,Pennsylvania,all the books in my home,except the books marked C.Wilson,and also except the books in the library, and in my daughter Claire's room,which is in pink at the head of the steps on the left.The books marked C.Wilson,I give to my two nieces,VIRGINIA and LOUISE WILSON. FOURTEENTH:I give and bequeath to my nieces,VIRGINIA and LOUISE WILSON,twenty-five books each from my library;and to ETHEL AND BELLE BAGLEY of Washington,D.D.,twenty-five books each from said library.The remainder of the books from said library I give and bequeath in equal shares to the Library Club and the Women's Club of Waynesburg,Pennsylvania. I direct my Executor to sell the Kermanshah and Antolia rugs,which are in my dining room and library and add the proceede thereof to my estate. FIFTEENTH:I give to my dear friend,MRS.J.ROBB LEDWITH, all my china in the dining room and butler's pantry to be kept by her until my niece,LOUISE WILSON,arrives at thirty years of age, at which time the same is to be divided equally between them.The paintings of my husband's father and mother shall be placed in the College Downey Museum Room of Waynesburg College.A caretaker shall be appointed and paid for out of the money left the College by me. The statues I leave to Waynesburg College.I leave my seal skin coat worth Eight Hundred Dollars to MRS.J.ROBB LEDWITH to keep and wear until my niece,LOUISE i~LSON,is twenty-eight years old, and then it is to go to my said niece,absolutely.I also give and bequeath to MRS.J.ROBB LEDWITH one framed picture of myself,to be selected by her. SIXTEENTH:My ermine scarf and opera coat I give to MISS ETHEL BAGLEY.of Florence Court,Washington.D.C. SEVENTEENTH:I give and bequeath to MRS.T.J.WISECARVER, of Waynesburg.Pennsylvania,the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars. EIGHTEENTH:I give and bequeath my small cluster diamond ring to my niece,LOUISE WILSON.The diamond and pearl collar and the diamond bracelet to be sold and the proceeds thereof to go into my residuary estate.The collar is valued at Twenty-eight Hundred ($2g00.00)Dollars and the bracelet at Two Thousand ($2000.00) Dollars. My mother's crepe shawl I give to LOUISE and VIRGINIA WILSON. NINETEENTH:I give and bequeath to MISS ANN CUMMINS of Des MOines,Iowa,the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars,and one of the framed pictures of myself. TWENTIETH:I give and bequeath to MRS.CHARLES MATTHEWS, address 1550 North Hampshire Avenue,Washington,D.C.,my black lace cape,and the white rose point piece of lace,lying in a small box with my purple fan,and one of the framed pictures of myself. TWENTY-FIRST:I give and bequeath to MISS BELLE BAGLEY and MISS ETHEL BAGLEY my pearl necklace,my pearl and cameo brooch and one of the framed pictures of myself. TWENTY-SECOND:I give and bequeath to LUCY SELLERS,the wife of Frank Sellers,the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00)Dollars. TWENTY-THIRD:I give and bequeath to VIRGINIA WILSON, the sum of Fifty ($50.00)Dollars,and a framed picture of myself; LOUISE \fiLSON the sum of Two Hundred ($200.00)Dollars and a framed picture of myself,and to ROBINSON DOWNEY WILSON,the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars. TWENTY-FOURTH:I give and bequeath to MRS.L.P.STONE, wife of Captain Stone,formerly of the United States Navy,now of Haverford,Pennsylvania,the sum of One Hundred ($100.00)Dollars and one of the framed pictures of myself. TWENTY-FIFTH:I give and bequeath to MRS.HORACE M. TOWNER of Iowa,whose husband was Governor of Porto Rico and Congressman from Iowa,all my fans and paradise ~eathers. THIRTIETH:I give and bequeath one of my oriental rugs not hereinbefore referred to,to MRS.JESSE R.SCOTT of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. THIRTY-FIRST:I give,deVise and beque~th to Mrs.Perry Heath,of 2100 S.Street,Washington,D.C.,my pearl and cameo bracelet. THIRTY-SECOND:I give,devise and bequeath.to my friend, K.N.CRANE,an employee of the Mellon National Bank of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,one dozen sterling silver forks. THIRTY-THIRD:I give,devise and bequeath to Mrs.J.P. Donley,of 159 -26th Avenue,N.,St.Petersburg,Florida,and to my nieces,Louise Wilson and Virginia Wilson,all the silverware, spoons,forke,knives,and other small pieces of silverware not already herein specifically deVised,the same to b~divided equally among them. THIRTY-FOURTH:I give,devise and bequeath to my friend, MRS.R.W.WAKEFIELD,wife of Dr.R.W.Wakefield of Bar Hft~bor,~, Maine,my silver and purple cornelian bracelet. THIRTY-FIFTH:In case HOMER JACKSON stays in my employ until my death,and does the work for me to my satisfaction such as he has been doing,it is my desire that the provisions of para- graph three of my husband's Will be carried out as therein direoted. THIRTY-SIXTH:In order to carry out the provisions of this Will,and to pay the speoifio money bequesta,my Exeoutor,here- inafter named,is hereby authorized,empowered and direoted to sell, either at publio or private sale,any or all of the real estate of whioh I may die seized,and to make deed or deeds therefor,the same as I oould do if living. THIRTY-SEVENTH:All the rest,'residue and remainder of my estate,I give and bequeath to the permanent Endowment Fund of Waynesburg College,with the right to said College to sell and oonvey any and all real estate at any time at the disoretion of the Board of Directors of the said The Waynesburg College,and the said prooeeds of any such sale or sales to beoome immediately a part of the said Endowment Fund,and the inoome therefrom to be devoted to the support of the said institution. The gold ohina,whioh my daughter Claire oainted,I give and bequeath to MISS MAY FAIRCHILD of 898 Park Avenue,New York City. To Mrs.Joseph Emory of Waldorf-Astoria Hotel,New York City,I give and bequeath my Alabaster Plaque,With famous Italian faces upon it. All of my D.A.R.books with Evans Greene County History in scrap book,I give and bequeath to MISS SARAH M.DINSMORE and MRS.KENNETH W.SCOTT. Of the two paintings with gold leaf frames that cost Fifty Dollars,I give and bequeath one to MRS.ANTHONY WAYNE COOKE, and the other to be Bold. RICHARD LEDWITH wishes to buy the table and rug in my library. I give and bequeath to }~S.MARY DENNY i~AVER,the Savanorola on ivory in Italian wood frame. I give and bequeath to MRS.WILLIAM C.RAY of Wallingford Street,Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania,the gold plate which Mrs.Bankhead gave me,and also the Madonna picture in the library. The silver framed photograph of Mr.DOlmey,the silver framed picture of my daughter,the oil painting of Mr.and Mrs. R.W.Downey,father and mother of my hUAband,R.F.Downey;the autograph letters of President Taft to me;the autograph letter of Mrs.Coolidge to my husband,R.F.Downey,and the letter from President James Buchanan;the pictures of Mrs.CalVin Coolidge and President Taft,which were given to me,I direct to be placed in the DOWNEY MUSEUM in WAYNESBURG COLLEGE,Waynesburg,Pennsylvania. I give and bequeath to my niece,LOUISE WILSON,the painting in the drawing room that is painted on both eides. I give and bequeath to MRS.DELOS A.BLODGETT,the hand- painted Plaque on the north mantle piece. I give and bequeath to MRS.KENNETH W.SCOTT,the picture of MRS.ANTHONY WAYNE COOKE.
