I,SAMUEL L.DAY,of Morris Township,Washing-
ton County,Pennsylvania,hereby make and publish this my
last Will and Testament,hereby revoking all Wills heretofore
made by me,and intending hereby to dispose of all the estate
of which I shall be seized or possessed at the time of my de-
cease.
1.I direct that my body be cremated,in
accordance with directions heretofore given by me to Ritchie
&Piatt of Washington,Pennsylvania,and that my ashes be
scattered upon my home farm in ~ashington County,Pennsylvania.
2.I direct that all of my debts be paid as
soon as may be convenient after my death.
3.To my daughter,Gladys McCausland,I give
and bequeath my Sheraton table and brass candlesticks.
4.To my son,Clayton Day,I give and bequeath
the marble top dresser formerly owned by his Grandmother.
5.To my grandson,Keith Lindley,I give and
bequeath all my books.
6.To my granddaughter,Jane Day,I give and
bequeath my marble top sideboard or buffet.
7.To my granddaughter,Irene Day Lewis,I
give and bequeath the dishes and silvenlare formerly owned
by her grandmothe~and her father's picture.
8.To my grandson,Luther Day,I give and
bequeath the clock formerly owned by his Great-Great-Great
Grandfather Horn.
9.To my grandson,Reid Day,I give and be-
queath my shotgun and rifle.
10.To my son,Earl Day,I give and be~ueath
the sum of Twenty-five Hundred ($2500)Dollars,which bequest
is intended to cover all work done by him for me on my farm,
and any amounts that he has advanced for the purchase of
supplies and material for use on the said farm.
11.To my daughter,Gladys McCausland,I give
and bequeath the sum of One Thousand ($1000)Dollars,\lhich
bequest shall include payment in full for any services rendered
by her to her invalid mother.
12.To my son,Clayton Day,I give and bequeath
the sum of One Thousand ($1000)Dollars,which is intended to
include paYment in full for any services rendered to me by my
said son.
13.To my housekeeper,Blanche Kughn,I give
and bequeath all household goods and furniture contained in
the room occupied by her in my home,and further give ~nd be-
queath to Blanche Kughn,during the term of her life,the oil
and gas royalty from l~nufacturers Light &Heat Company Well
No.1498,on my farm in Morris Township,Washington COLnty,
Pennsylvania,now amounting to One Hundred ($100)Doll~rs per
year.
14.I direct that if any of the legatees above
named shall institute any contest of this my last will and tes-
tament,or any testamentary provision contained herein,or
shall seek by any proceeding at law or othenvise to invalidate
this will,or any part thereof,or shall present any claim for
services claimed to have been rendered for me,then ana in
such case I revoke and annul every legacy herein contained in
favor of the person so contesting and litigating my \Vill,or the
contents thereof,or presenting any claim against my estate,
and do hereby direct that the legacy or bequest to the person
so litigating dr contesting or presenting any such claim shall
become part of the residue of my estate,and be disposed of as
hereinafter provided.
15.I hereby authorize and direct my Executor,
hereinafter named,to sell,at either pUblic or private sale,
my farm of 144 acres,situate in Morris Township,WasJ.ington
County,Pennsylvania,for such price and on such terms as it
may deem advisable,and to execute good and sufficient deed
therefor.The said farm was conveyed to me by deed o~H.K.
Bell,et ux.,recorded in Deed Book 295,Page 317.
16.I direct that all inheritance and succes-
sion taxes be paid out of the residue of my estate.
17.To my children living at the dat~of my
death,who have not contested or litigated my Will or presented
any claim against my estate,I give,devise,and bequeath the
rest,residue,and remainder of my estate,to be diviQed equally
among them.
I hereby constitute and appoint The Citizens
National Bank of Washington (Pennsylvania),Executor of this
my last Will and Testament.

ington County,Pennsylvania,do make and publish this Codicil
to my last ~ill and Testament,dated Wmy 9,1946:
1.Subject to the provisions of my said Will,
I give and bequeath to my son,Earl Day,the additional sum
of One Hundred Twenty-five (~125)Dollars,which is intended
to cover all work done for me on my farm,and amy amounts
he has advanced l"or the purchase of supplies and material for
use on said farm since ~ay 9,1946.
In all other respects,I do hereby ratify and
confirm my last \Jill and Testament,dated May 9,1946.
