Will and Testament l intending thereby to dispose of all my estate
and to revoke any will or wills heretofore made:
1.I give and bequeath to my grandsonl Vance ~~cClelland
Smith,son of Emma C.Smithl the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00).
2.I give and bequeath to my son l Joseph L.Cowden
of Mount Pleasant Township,Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00).
3.I give and bequeath to my granddaughter l Sarah
Elsie Cowden,dal1ghter of Don M.Cowden l Five Hundred pollars ($500.00 ).
4.I give and bequeath to my grandson,Robert Weaver
Cowden l son of Don M.Cowden,the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
5.I give and bequeath to Joseph L.Cowden my walnut
wardrobe,dresser,marble-topped stand and bowl and pitcher,my bed-
room suite in the spare room,including bed,mattress,washstand and
dresser l and the quilt Which is marked with his name.
6.I give and bequeath to my granddaughter,Sarah Elsie
Cowden l my china,my glass cupboard or china closet with all the
china and dishes contained therein,the steak plates belonging to
my set,my gold watch and chain,the dessert spoons which my own
mother gave me,one-half dozen cane seated chairs and my walnut
stand which I got from my mother,and the pillows and bolster in
the spare room.
7.I give and bequeath to my granddaughter,Roberta
Smith,daughter of Emma C.Smith,my clockl together with the ornament
used with and belonging to it.
8.I give and bequeath to my daughter,Margaret Cowden,
my silver teaspoons with my name on them,my knives and forks and all
my tablecloths and napkins.
9.I give and bequeath my breast pin which is set in
pearls with one small diamond,to my niece,May Anderson Sloan,of
East Liverpool,Ohio.
10.I give md bequeath to Ida COWden,wife of Don M.
COWden,all my white comforts.
11.I give and bequeath to Margaret COWden and Ida
Cowden~wife of Don M.Cowden~my embroidered linen pillow slips
and bolster slips~to be divided equally between them.
12.I give and bequeath to my son~Don M.Cowden~my
rings~the rocking chair which is now in the parlor~the quilt which
is marked with his name and the sum of Four Thousand Dollars
($4~OOO.OO).
13.I give~devise and bequeath 'all the rest~residue
and remainder of my estate to my son~Don M.Cowden.
14.I nominate~constitute and apDoint my sons~
Joseph L.Cowden and Don M.Cowden as the Executors of this my last
Will and Testament.
